Root Gingersense ROM with 4G

Hi again look I just saw this rom i know its in the initial stages but do you think I can flash this without having problems or its still to advanced for me

i would recommend that you try other roms first, just so you get the feel of flashing roms. i would also recommend that you do everything manually and not use rom manager. it has been known to be buggy and also that way you get more comfortable using your custom recovery. another thing i recommend is that you actually switch recoveries to amon ra 2.3 if you have not already. you can get it in my sig along with instructions in ref #1.

Just flashed this ROM. wow sense 3 is something nice. all the sub menus everywhere are really nice. It's very clean, albeit a little slow, but that's expected. If all the kinks can be ironed out this is gonna be super awesome.

Kingdom I take it? Virus is working on B1.1 now for it supposed to be way more stable...keep an eye out

Im going to continue using Koni or Mik froyo until a sense 3 thats more stable comes out, perhaps b1.1, i will certainly try it again. AOSP 2.3 like cm7 is history for me, hard to go back after having sense 3.0. Hopefully all can be ironed out, till then i am on mik 4.62 awaiting koni Es4....

Also trying the speedy port today from misfit and the sensation port again from leo, i think leo has his sensation port pretty stable by now, its been like a month lol.

sweet, it's actually fine for me. a few quirks, but very usable for everyday. At first I had to restart several times and wipe cache to get it going correctly. 4g even works, which is nice.

I did notice maps won't start if gps is on. If gps is off you can start maps and then turn it on and it's fine. weird stuff.

yeah it ran stable for me to for 3 days, i changed a skin and sense restarted like 20 times, got that stable but only for a day then it started restarting again, switch back to the system skin but by that time i was irritated lol

Changelog for 1.1 has been up for 3 days, i would expect the damn thing soon

Speedy port is nice, everything worked for me except the browser did NOT work. I believe he had an update recently so..... maybe that was fixed

Yeah I liked the speedy port, made a back up even. He updated last night I know that included a camera fix but I'm not sure on the browser.

Still didn't like the sensation, lagged on me but then again I didn't give it time top settle in...

Aamikam just updated the MikGinger 2.1 to v0.5 and now 4G works Definitely worth the flash
