I think mine doesn't work because of the errors I'm getting on the first part of the process under terminal emulator.

when you exit out do you see a error caled Kingroot has failed to start?

No problem, I was afraid you might run into an issue like that based on the website. Hopefully you hear back from them soon so that they can get you the right file. Hopefully the instructions are still the same when you do.

Hello! Thanks to all who are working hard and risking their phones to try and get this to work! I currently own a Boost Mobile LG Stylo 2 and all I wanted to do was root it so that I could get the USB Host Mode working for peripherals xD. What a journey and a task that has been! I will help if I can, but I have scant experience with android code/programming.

If u have zv3 u can get root but if u have Zv4 u can't as if yet

This phone is a beast. Would love to have root. Almost 2K requests on Kingroot, but no root yet.

The LGMS550 is the metroPCS Stylo 2 Plus. Snapdragon 430 with 2gb of ram. And I haven't seen a mention of anyone working on this device anywhere. The device being discussed here is the Stylo 2 if I'm not mistaken. It's a completely different device with different hardware.

Get Romtool box And freeze And Delete All Kingroot services after doing the Commands. This Should Fix any of the the issues,Repeat This process While You Are Trying To Get Permanent root.

I've checked everywhere even emailed LG directly. They sent me some ridiculous message back telling me to go to settings, software updates to update the firmware on my phone. Ridiculous.

I haven't checked in a few days, but last I heard this phone's firmware (as far as a flashable .kdz file) have not been released as of yet. If it does get released, may be a possibility of flashing the zv3 software via the LG Flash Tool, and thereby achieving root for all. Until then, however, may have to wait for King Root. GOD is still trying to achieve root though. Nothing working just yet, but he seems to be working his hardest to get root for everyone.
