Root Help Rooting LG Stylo 2

So i tried the guide to get permanent root on my vm zv3 and i cant seem to get it to work. I installed kinguser and got temp root, downloaded terminal emulater, downloaded the zip to install supersu and remove kinguser, downloaded the su update binary, ran terminal command "su", then ran "sh /sdcard/mrw/root.sh", supersu installs but kinguser stays, then i used flashfire, clicked flashed zip or ota, found the file, made sure the only thing checked was mount/system read/write and pressed checkmark, clicked on wipe and made sure just the wipe dalvik and wipe cache partition were checked, hit flash and my screen stayed black for about 4 hours and nothing. Idk what it is im doing wrong.

Hello :),Try My Way I Was Going to Include This in My Guide To Root Zv4/zv3 A "Better updated Version" But Whocares :mustachedroid:..,This Should Work For You Guys Do Everything Like He Said , But Once He says Go To Flashfire Do My Route!,

(1)First Turn Off Emulate Framebuffer In The "Settings" in Flashfire And Also Turn On "Freeload".

(2)Then Go Ahead And Go Back and Click On The "+" Symbol Then Click On "Flash Ota Or Zip" Add The Supersu.Zip File That You Should Already Have.

(3)Once You Select the Zip It Will Take You To Options Then Select "Mount/system Read/Write"

(4) Look At The Cards There should Be one that Says "Everoot",Select It Then Disable "Preserve Recovery". And Enable "Inject Supersu"

(5)Look At The Cards Again Then select "Reboot" And Disable Preserve Recovery.

(6)Now You Can Click The Lighting Bolt Proceed To The Flashing.(If You See A Black Screen With A Loading Icon With Matrix Like Effects In The Background It Worked) If You Dont see Anything For About 5Mins Take Out Your Battery And Try Again):specsdroid:

How do u do zv4 FlashFire wont work unless u have some kind of root

(ZV4)Yes This Requires Root,I Will Post How To Root Zv4 Once We figure Out How To Get Bootloader(Unless someone Else No's how to Get Temp Root),so Zv4 Users can Flash To A Older version Of Zv4 using my img In Which obtaining Temp Root Is Possible, which in Return Should Allow Us To Get Permanent Root Using The Above Meathod.

Anyone know how to root android spot i7 please [emoji30]

We seem to all be talking about the LG Stylo 2, no?

We are Scott. Unfortunately, an exploit to root the Stylo 2 on version zv4 has not been found as of yet.

@Etraquair , we may be able to point you in a direction for root of your phone (if it exists), but I could not find anything on that phone with the current name information. What is the full name of the phone?

Still didnt work:(

There was a method that I used once upon a time (a year or so ago) to root an LG G3 via download mode. It did, however, require a .tot file and dll file of the rom you were flashing to. I am currently searching for the link to it, as I don't remember the name, and all of the current links to roots for the G3 point towards the Purple Drake method. Will update if I find the program if this helps anyone.

Still didnt work:(

I think mine doesn't work because of the errors I'm getting on the first part of the process under terminal emulator.

No problem. I found this link, not sure if it will help you:

http://inphic.com/downloads/tools-drivers/download/32-spot-i7-root-patch

Also per the site:

With this patch you will gain root access to your device. To apply this patch, download this file to a USB external storage, and use UPDATE&BACKUP app in My Apps. If you need assistance, contact support@inphic.com

Hopefully this helps :).
