My Phone Is Basicly a Mix Of zv4 And zv3 A Frankenstine,Hmm It Says Im Zv4 Yet I Can Get Root,Phone seems Stable,When you send me the other system img That should be good for testing..So The one i am useing is zv4,Im going to flash the zv3 System.img and then flash zv4 boot.img.
I Notice when Rooting,My Device seems to Turn Off Every 10-to 5 mins Randomly only when rooted...This Is interesting..

Top Priority Is ##Accesing Bootloader##,I Understand what needs to be done to Obtain Root On Zv4,Once I Figure Out How to Access Bootloader For Zv4,Or If Anyone else no's how to Ill Will Make A Thread,Or what Ever You Guys Call them (I am Still New To Fourms) About how to root Zv4/Or and A Better Root guide To zv3

Iwill unstall what I have. cause every time I bring up command it had fast boot in command line I'm new to adb stuff I'm used to the aps on phone to root .if some one can help with me getting the SDK tools installed and stuff I b more help

I concur with roadkill. I have never used adb and would like an easier way to root zv4 when we get there. Tanx again for hardwork by all involved.

I Have Obtained Root,Not Just Any Root...Permanent Root For Zv4!,Long Story Short,I was In A Rock In A Hard Place,It Was Either Create A Coustom Rom For Both Devices,Orrrrr...Create A Modified System.img That was Prerooted(I Choose Modifed System.img),But I Quickly Realized That I Could Try To Push Su Manually The very hard way,I Decided To Try The Zv3s Verson Of Root But A Little Bit Diffrent...And It Succeded,Also If You Guys Need Help Learning How To Use Adb I Have A Few Videos,Also I Need You Guys To Test Something for me! (Try Accessing adb And "Adb Reboot Bootloader" Without the "quotes"! So The way To Root Zv4 is Going to require A Little knowledge..I Need Someone to test How to Boot into Bootloader! Also How Did I Root It I Flashed Two Diffrent images From Both Of Zv3,And Zv4 To Accomplish This But You May Be able To Use My Zv4.Img To Get Root,All I Need Now are Some Testers Trying to Get Into fastboot!

Any possible starting places you can think of to try ADB on this phone? I've tried a few times before and all the phone does is reset when trying to reboot to the bootloader. I've also tried to reboot to recovery and then boot into bootloader, but same result-phone just restarts.

I'm using the MetroPCS Stylo 2 Plus and I was able to unlock the bootloader a couple of weeks ago using the same method as the original G Stylo. Very eager to obtain root. My Stylo 2 group is growing over on G+. We all want root! LoL

I'm not sure why, but it seems LG has made it especially hard to get into fastboot on this device (the Boost variant anyway). I've tried many times to boot into bootloader or use adb/fastboot commands and all it does is reboot the phone. It won't even let you boot into bootloader from recovery mode. There must be some great secret hidden behind that wall of code lol.

Admittedly, I have not tried this route myself, but I thought someone over on XDA tried this method on the Boost variant, and it didn't work. I think the issue is that the usual exploits for LG phones don't seem to work for this phone. It's crazy.
