Root [Kernel][Linaro] Zippy V6.0 {Updated 10/03/14}

Should the "ON BOOT" be on or off when setting cpu speed with the kernel tweak on simplicity. Same question with faux clock app.

Doesn't matter, as long as you know your settings are stable it will auto set it at boot. If your settings aren't stable then you might find yourself in a bootloop or something.

i installed this kernal last night and i already had simplicity installed but now when i turn on my phone it gets stuck in bootloop or it restarts since my apps fail to start.
what should i do?

What version of simplicity were you running? restore your backup you made before flashing.

I'm running simplicity2.0 and tried installing the updated kernel
I couldn't get it to work so I restored my last back up and its been running smoothly without the zippy kernel

redownload the zip, and try wipe cache and dalvik cache in recovery beforing rebooting again.

So after doing all that and uninstalling and reinstalling a few apps that kept crashing it finally booted normally it said it was optimising apps it restarted a few times doing that and is now working fine

after flashing this kernel, my phone started to become really unresponsive after a few days. I reboot into recovery to restore a stable backup I had made prior to the flashing, and lo and behold, the recovery is broken! same as last time. I'm going to have to go back and reflash LG firmware and start from scratch again... but I feel like this kernel is just giving me too many problems. it is advantageous, yes, but overall performance has become a problem. maybe it's just my particular device, but I think I'll stay with stock or freedom kernel

New update coming soon, most likely the last one too but like all other of my projects, it'll go out with a big bang. ;)

Also for those who are wondering what i'll be moving onto at the end of the year, it will be the OnePlus One.
