Root [Kernel][Linaro] Zippy V6.0 {Updated 10/03/14}

Seriously, pleeeeeeeaaaaaase make it for the stock ROM. At least until you can get a Simplicity for my version of the phone. I would be very grateful :)

I have flashed it before and it didn't work, but I just did it again and it worked. Kind of weird lol.
 
ok so did i do this right i wiped cache partion and dalvik cache (made a NAndroid backup before hand) and then installed it through CWM. Now its like
ANDROID IS UPGRADING
optimizing app 171 of 216
 
perfect the new kernel is great only one problem..... I get a random reboot about once per day, is that normal? Plus the reboot takes a while

yes, that is normal. chev said it in his OP so it should be good. I also think the OP said you should switch to conservative if you want it for daily use or something... I'd have to check again. but you can just look at it at the beginning of this thread :)
 
If I wanted to restore to a backup before I installed this kernel what would change beside my apps?

Any ideas why i can't hold the cpu frequency? while I'm playing even with the cellphone cold, i get underclock to 1.1ghz, even using Antutu CPU, No Frills or Kernel Tweaks.
