Root [KERNEL] Plague Overclock Kernel for LG Esteem MS910 - UPDATED!

Wow i am really tempted to try this but I'm such a noob. I had trouble work the one click root lol. Can anyone guide me through this or maybe tell me step by step how to do it... I would appreciate it!

Go to the guide, and then ddownload the one-click root and CWM in the ALL thread. Plug your phone into a computer and set your USB o INTERNET. Turn debugging on before you connect. Then, in the folder, there should be two .bat files. Pick the one that doesn't say unroot. This will root and add recovery to your phone. Now, move Plague's kernel to your SD and install Anreboot from the market. Reboot into recovery. Find the .zip in your folder through the "flash zip" section in the recovery. Then reboot after install. Download SetCPU. Overclock to a max of 1.7 GHZ.

omg i did this and my phone is fast as hell now! but i think this custom kernel messes up the hdmi censer! now my phone cant find the hdmi cable and ive tryed everything!! some one help me please!

I got a 4161 @1.7

I cranked mine up to 1.7 (temporarily) and got a 4100... must be my crappy external SD card?

My phone seems to reboot when I put it to 1.7 or even 1.6. I seem pretty stable on 1.5 though. Sucks wish I could go to 1.7

what if my phone is already rooted? just ass the recovery to my phone?

Absolutely zero. Everything that I deleted is on that list I made. and deleted all the Google calendar related apks too.

As far as I know there is nothing else trying to invade it. Any suggestions on what would do that?

Hook your phone to your comp and move it, still zipped, to your sd card

i did it! Thanks you guys so much for the help... if i would asked for help anywhere else they would have either talked smack on how clueless i was or just ignored me. If the biggest noob (me) on this site could do it im sure anyone can. appreciate the help

Download on the PC and enable mass storage device (USB) on your phone. Move the .zip to a folder on the phone with your PC. Find it using recovery, under "flash a zip."

when i try to go to 1.7GHZ the phone restarts. what should i do, im using SetCPU to do this. All help appreciated.

Go down to 1.5ghz. Not all phones are the same so yours might not be able to run at the same frequency as another.
