Yeah, I'm looking forward to seeing some more from you, at least until that TB thread picks up. I'm sure most of them aren't rooted, though you don't need to be, and haven't experimented at all with anything. Soon enough though. It took me a good 8 months before I decided to root and get into making nice layouts.

circle battery widget-it's usually gingerbread green, but that's the color i have it set when fully charged.

this was all done without root, and i'm also rocking swipepad beta.

pretty simple compared to some of the ones in here, but i like it. It's just the google search bar that kind of throws off the whole grey-black-green motif.

Thanks! And yep, that wallpaper is just one of those included with CM7. I don't really know the process for getting it off the phone.
 
Minimalistic text for clock and battery. Man that took a lot of messing with to get them to line up with the correct areas.
Text on wallpaper and desktop visualizer.
There is a white boarder around it which kinda blends in with the backgound of this webpage, but you get the idea.

How is 2.4? I have 2.3.2 now and i see that some people have bugs with wifi and mms?
 
Admiral, well done! Very nice. The sky's really the limit with this "image map" concept.

tdubbz, you should get a high-rez version of that school's logo, that would really make it POP. I like that foot icon. lol I went to USC, gotta be careful with icons from that school. Go Cocks! :D

FCO2011, I had the same problem with that Google search bar. But with how you have it set as displayed, the search hardware button on your phone should bring up the same screen, no? I don't think you even need to put it out there, fouling up your gingerbreadness with its damnable blue and grey and white, right?

Meanwhile, I think I have discovered the cure for my raging Layoutism. I love my newest layout ("Hex") so much that my phone got a restraining order against me. :D Finally happy with my own work, it's like that firey desire to wipe and redo my phone less than a day later is GONE. I will still be around, though, and nothing lasts forever, right? Just ask my ex-wife. I'll be back with new stuff in the fyootcha! *salute*

are those icons part of the simi folder? Where did you get the icons for launcher pro?

OMH, the way I deal with the issue is to have a development screen. Basically I have 4 screens, 3 with a setup I like that has all the stuff I need. The 4th is used to play with new layouts for a single screen, thats why I only ever post one screen. It allows me to experiment but still keep a setup I like.
 
been soo busy havent had a chance to fiddle with the phone until this week. i switched to CM7, and have been majorly impressed with the nightly's.

If you mean icons on the main screen, they're part of the Suave HD icon pack (not Simi Folder). I believe I downloaded them here:
MacThemes Forum / [theme] Suave HD by Thyraz, Updated 03/22/11 ok for 4.3 !

The dock is really just a background, with transparent icons on top. I didn't make the dock; I took it from somewhere but can't remember where that was. I'll attach it for you.
