LG G3 Pre-release/Rumor/Speculation Thread

I hope he's (*she) insane.

I'm at 9 hours off the charger, 3.5 hours screen on (normal use for me, surfing and doing stuff) with my screen auto-brightness keeping me at the second-highest level for 85% of the time, and I'm only down to 55% - Gsam Battery Monitor says to expect between 5 and 8 more hours of use at my present rate.

I expect nothing less from any flagship.

I think that either LG really screwed up or these battery reviewers are having a click bait field day.

Guess which one I think is more likely.

I'm hoping they're doing it for clicks..... but I'm thinking LG made a tactical mistake trying to be the first to market with a 4k screen. *She does caveat that she is turning the screen brightness up to counter the dim display and this is probably affecting her results.

I'm still waiting to see US version reviews, but battery aside, the reports of over sharpening and dim display have me close to jumping ship.

I need your advice, guys.

I have a really nice backyard, with the really good deck, the plants, the rose bushes etc.

I did put quite a few thousands of my hard-earned piastros into making that backyard a nice place.

On the other hand, my neighbors have dogs. And backyard. So they decided that instead of walking the dogs they can turn their backyard into the dogs toilet. It is now full of the dog shit.

What is the proper city agency to complain about this?

Try them. It sounds like a case of filth that may endanger the animals and the community for disease and pests.

Sounds like the neighbors are the real disease. Being irresponsible with dogs is a symptom.

In regards to the sharpness issue reported by several reviews and a few users, I bet Tom Cruise's Psychology degree is less than optimal scaling.

Had similar problem w/next door neighbor,the proverbial CAT LADY.
Never met a stray she didn't like,fed them all.
Animal control & health dept both got involved,as it's illegal to care for strays here & not have them up-to-date on tags & shots.

If the dogs aren't wearing tags,I'd bring it to Animal Controls' attention.
That should get the ball rollin'

The residents of the great City of San Francisco are prohibited from having chicken, pigs etc. on their backyards. I can't believe they are allowed to turn their backyards into a pile of the dog shit. I'll find out tomorrow.

No HOA here, single houses.
