I'm not devoted to brands, just devices that serve my needs the best. S-pen technology is what sold me on the Note line, as I use it daily for different functions in particular, note during meetings.

It's one of the reasons the G3 won't be my daily driver. If LG had a built in digitizer, then it would definitely be my daily driver.

The foldable phone / tablet with a built in digitizer would eliminate my need for a phone and tablet, which is the main tech that I concentrate on, not necessarily the OEM.

No, you are absolutely correct, it would be a perfect device.

Wait..how about IR remote control?:rolleyes:

I dislike Samsung for the reasons I have mentioned before, not because they make bad hardware.

In fact I had chosen Samsung Tab 7 for my data line w/T-mo instead of Nexus 7 because Tab 7 has IR blaster.
 
My Sony Flip 15 offers a pen for 40.00. I bought it. Have I ever used it? No. I have no use for them, that I can foresee. To each his own?

IR blaster isn't a big concern or need for me, due to the logitech smart remote control. It's pretty awesome. I can use any of my Android devices to control without IR, since it connects to the wireless control hub via wifi.
 
This is interesting. If the G Watch (which, my understanding, would be compatible with all smartphones, not just LG or Android) is releasing along side the G3 on July 1 in the UK. Maybe there will be more of a general global launch at the end of June/early July?

My only theory behind that is due to the LG G watch compatibility with other phones. I was planning on purchasing the G watch (as a belated Mother's day gift for my Mom), but would be pretty cool if I could buy both at the same time.

Stopped by T-Mo store today, talked to the manager. I know her from the Blackberry promotion time, she is really nice, helped me to make about $600 from that promotion.:D

She told me that she doesn't know anything about G3 launch date but promised to call me as soon as she will know something.

What is funny is, she really wanted my gear, but it was too much hassle to root that, just to get it to work with her Photon q, so she was ok waiting for the g watch as a belated mother's day gift.

I showed her the g watch with white and gold and preferred that over the 360, so hopefully they don't over price it at launch.
