When it comes to aesthetics, I too run without a front license plate on my cars, but it's becoming less practical due to traffic cameras and police crackdowns. I run a thin silver or matt black frame in the rear and reverse the dealers plastic insert which is solid blank white on the back. So far I've been lucky to not be cited for no front plate.

Conversely my brothers been written up by the CHP three times just this year.

Considering we both commute to the same destination 60 miles away, but at different times, I'm now considering caving in and mounting one just to save the trouble of dealing with a fix-it ticket.

To the G3, while I would also like an 805 I'm so keen on the rest of it I'll most likely just buy one either way. :)

Now, for the g3, I truly feel for Verizon customers that are subjected to Verizon branding, but at the same time, they get the benefit of the most solid coverage of all the providers.

That's a G2. Did it lack the Verizon branding?? :confused:

Not relevant to those on subsidized plans, but a signpost for those not. This makes me think it will be about $100 less in SE Asia a few weeks after launch.
 
Is it strange that I'm surprised that LG didn't go with a higher capacity battery for the G3?

I'm not.

Everyone I've talked to gets insane life with their G2.

In direct competition, it's bigger than the 2800 mAh in the SGS5 - and new for this year, maybe it's removable.

I doubt that this will get the battery life of the G2, but I always have. Hopefully I'm wrong.

For me removable battery, even with the shorter life than G2 has, is better.
I can always get a second one. I always have the second battery for my phones.

Just as soon as I start experimenting with kernel mods on the iPhone, I'll get right on it.

Oh hey, not stage right, watch out for that hole in the floor in the dark... NOOOO! Not the slippery water! NOOOO! That's a live power cable, not a rope! NOOOO! That's a set bear trap from the outdoors segment, not a step-up! NOOOO! That's not the intercom, that button sets off the TNT!

If it is removable and if zero lemon moves over and develops a battery for the g3, that'll make me consider the g3 even more than I already am.

Absolutely loved my 7000mh battery for my former s3.
 
That link goes to a locked page... That VZ logo is a major bummer. I switched to sprint to cut my bill in half... Unfortunately my service was cut in half too, so I gotta come back with my tail between my legs... Was going to do so at g3 release but I don't know if I can live with that FU in your face in the top right corner....
