thoughts?

Getting the same. Tried posting a comment on an article about, comment never got placed. Might be 2 separate issues though.

I just into this as well. I can't access anything on the site from my computer now. I had to switch over to the phandroid app to even view this thread.

I can confirm the issues are happening to me. Threads on androidforums.com are not showing up after passing the malware warning.
I had to post from the android app

Phases just let me know that they are working on it.

Good news, after a cache clear and a few reloads I was able to access the forum from my computer.

Well, I still get the warning on phandroid and AF, but I can at least get into threads now.

Can someone let the admins know that Google reports the site as having malware.

I can't get to it on chrome and I'm not about to try thru IE.

Currently using the phandroid app

Clarification from a site dev -

Someone was able to inject an iframe via a sidebar widget on phandroid. They used this iframe to link to a site which contains malware.

Because of the footer and some other linked pages, sites other than phandroid in the neverstill universe were affected with the WARNING not the actual link to malware.

To my best estimate everything should come back to normal shortly and google should remove the warning, otherwise sleep may not be in my future.

fun times, I hope my work doesn't decide to block this site now. (Or I will be a sad panda.)

As from this evening (about 11pm, UK), Google throws up the 'Malware detected' warning screen 'Warning: Something's not right here', whenever I try to access Android Forums, stating 'androidforums.com contains content from phandroid.com, a site known to distribute malware. Your computer might catch a virus if you visit this site.' Ouch!

But, says Google, 'We have already notified phandroid.com that we found malware on the site. For more about the problems found on phandroid.com, visit the Google Safe Browsing diagnostic page.'

So I follow the Google Safe Browsing diagnostic page and get this:

Safe Browsing Diagnostic page for phandroid.com

What is the current listing status for phandroid.com?

Has this site acted as an intermediary resulting in further distribution of malware?
Over the past 90 days, phandroid.com did not appear to function as an intermediary for the infection of any sites.

Has this site hosted malware?
No, this site has not hosted malicious software over the past 90 days.

How did this happen?
In some cases, third parties can add malicious code to legitimate sites, which would cause us to show the warning message.

So Google are listing these sites as suspicious, but haven't detected any malware! So why the malware warning? Has anyone else come across this?

Edit: Just seen the Android Forum message about this. Android Forum/Phandroid are on the case. Thanks!
