May Be Switching To Optimus M

I would have thought the EVO or HTC Incredible is the most powerful phone on the market.

Hmmmmm...I'm not really sure why Joser made that statement either. I looked at the specs on it and it didn't strike me as being so 'Herculean'. LOL

Actually I thought the most powerful now were the Galaxy S, Samsung Fascinate and the iphone 4.

But then why should I care when I have the fun and fabulous Ascend? :p

It is the only phone right now with a dual core processor. That's 2 processor cores running at 1GHz each. This is why it is the only Android phone with 1080p video capture and playback. Sidenote: even the mytouch 4g is more powerful than the Evo or Incredible or Droid X

But wait! What really IS the criteria for being 'the most powerful'? Surely not just video capture. There are many other factors as well. From the looks of things the X2 falls short in some of those areas.

Are you saying the mytouch 4g is more powerful than the Nexus S? :)

The Optimus 2X, not X2. Yes, even more powerful than the Nexus S. I can prove it if you want. The software does not matter if you are just talking about which phone is more powerful. The factors for being the most powerful are the speed of the processor, number of processors, and the number of crunched triangles per second. And about your video capture part, you need serious power to be able to do 1080p Full HD Video playback AND recording. But I just added that part as a sidenote. You didn't respond to the fact that is is the only phone right now with 2 processors cores each running at 1GHz, for a total of 2GHz of power. Plus, it is an NVidia Tegra unit, so it has significantly superior graphics performance. It is obvious that the Optimus 2X is the most powerful phone right now. (Not trying to sound mean). Ahhhhhhh 2X yes! I knew it looked wrong when I typed it! LOL

It's okay I'll take your word for it being the most powerful but seriously have you seen the reviews on it?

They aren't that hot! I'll find the one I read and post it here in just a few but it is a very beautiful phone for sure!!!

Certainly worth wishing for!!!

In fact....I LOVE LG! I just don't care as much for the Optimus M as I do the Ascend even though I am sure it's very nice.

But this phone....this is HOT!
 
What?! It has bad reviews?! Phandroid just made a review of the Optimus 2X and it praises the phone. It says the only drawback is a slight tint in the display, which could be just his unit.Anyways, all I said is that is the most powerful phone and it is.
 
I would harp on the fact that its not even 3g but from what I understand Metro does not have 3g anyway right?

The best phones out there have 1gh processors and this phone has 2 of them. that's better than one 2gh processor because they can work independently= better multitasking = awesome phone.

I installed quite a few apps already, same as I had on the Ascend, and it's still screaming fast... it prob has to do with 2.2 ANNNNNND the fact that it has more ram
