Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] [ROM][OFFICIAL] CyanogenMod 11 Nightly Builds for d2mtr

Ok i got my 4g back on some dealer near my home that flashes and mods his android phone flashed some type of script and fixed my 4g he said i can find it on the howard forums but i checked but cant find anything.

Alright, time for my little findings. Before i start, just want to state that I am aware some of what i am about to type has already been discussed. First the quirks: scrolling lag through long lists (short lists didnt seem to give me much of an issue), MMS doesnt work, MMS black theme doesnt work, 4G cuts-out randomly from time to time. Going into airplane mode sets it back. Using the 6x6 lock pattern rarely (but common enough to annoy me) responded with saying my password was incorrect. (Im a precise person so I know it wasnt me. Id try multiple times, and with each fail, id do the pattern slower to be absolutely sure. Locking the phone and trying again seemed to "refresh" it and then itd unlock), when switching to a different application from the launcher menu a distorted graphical image would flash twice on the screen then boot up the application just fine. Didnt seem to ever hurt performance however benchmark scores show otherwise, case in point: benchmark scores show that the ROM is getting a little over 4k on antutu on a full test with results. On my stock, benchmark would only score CPU, ram, and another variable (which i forget off the top of my head..) and easily beat the benchmark from this ROM at 5k the least. (Gpu rendering, sdcard tests and I/O integers not included in score). certain GAPPS didnt seem to work and constantly FC'd like google search(course could have been a bad egg), Other than that, seems to be a pretty stable build.
The little things i found to be awesome: memory management in settings work like a charm. (Least from my experience.) Battery did not drain as fast as stock which is obviously a plus, and pushing S Voice to the system folder and rebooting gave me S Voice with absolutely no issues whatsoever but other apps like S memo, S suggest, and Samsung Apps did not even appear to be installed. And of course, cyanogenmod 10. Period. :p

Love it..

looks good but for me and others we will have to wait till its has its rough edges smooth out. and especially mms. and also people that dont have 4g using the cm10 or those that reverted back to backup try a in setting factory data reset not through cmw or twrp.

When nightlys are available, do we just wipe cache and dalvik, and flash over this?

Yea, it would be safe to assume so.

Everything seems to be working fine except mms as others have said. I will say that it runs like a beast. Super smooth. I'm not experiencing any of the scroll lag myself.

Any luck yet? Just in case someone else might need it.

did you format data factory reset, wipe cache and wipe dalvik cache before you flash the cm10 nightly?

What I did was while I was on stock rom I use anycut app to create the iothidden menu shortcut then I choose the last option to reset/wipe phone. Will need to know spc number to do this phone will reboot and should be showing 4g. I had to use the same shortcut to edit my min and phone number cause it was wrong after the reboot.

I wiped system, factory reset, dalvik and cache (I didn't wipe data).....installed cm10 and gapps...... Then I wiped dalvik and cache again! Rom booted right up no looping and 4G no problems at all...... Hope this info helps someone. :)
