Lol i flashed Xperion rom after i posted that afterward i flashed the oc version of freedom kernel.....then the bg packet he provided....did not flash the kitkat experience (im nuts and think it lags the device....since i had already used it previously and would like to test if it does not lag)

I have a spare phone in good condition, but can you send me files to test instead? I don't really want to send anything out, in addition to that I'm still underage and my parents wouldn't take lightly to me sending packages to people.
 
The fuse seems to work ..... but it also has odd rules.... or qwerks .....

Unlike the other (meaning kk and jb) ROMs ... it let's you back off .. uninstall.. Undo the lame "insufficient storage bla bla" threshold... That seems impossible to back off from....

I've yet to have this phone tell me that... And let me undo it by uninstalling apps.. on any other ROM ..

But on the other side... It tends to want to add backed up apps that aren't installed as being installed... If I don't delete them before I flash it...

Of which... Like I said... Delete em and it says I have room in the storage graph.....

i can install unsigned apps all day as far as i can tell...things that don't need permission.....

but, apps like root browser,file explorers,things that are helpful....it says i have no room ...once i see that message.....that's that....

but, themes....i can install em ....uninstall em... ...over and over and it wont stop me

O.o. you dont flash the kitkat experience and theres no way it can lag.all the kitkat experience is is icons.you choose whitch ones you want and manually change O.o. so how exactly would this lag
 
no its not unless he remade it.it even says on his page to extract it.

Here you have all the current Android Kit Kat 4.4 Icons, Wallpapers, and Transparent home screen Folders.

*** Instructions based on "Nova Launcher" ***
1. Store the icons/wallpapers you like somewhere in your SD card.

2. To change icons, long press on the icon you wish to change and when you get the popup click the icon in the popup and navigate to where you stored the icons and apply it.

3. To change Home Screen Folders go to nova settings and click on folders then folder backgrounds and select custom then navigate to where you stored the icons and apply.

yeah, i almost had it before.. but its being stupid, vold is addressed differently in kk vs jellybean, so jb mods had to be retrofitted to kk, iam not going away though, so if i dont post for a while its cuz iam working hard on something

great news.im trying to sell my f6 and this laptop im using for a sweet laptop build thats built like a big huge desktop
i had that before but someone stole it and im working to get it again.itll help me make modified backups learn to script maybe in the future and other things without the complications of a slow machine.

i will be adding this back to the f6 though and set the person up once they get service.once you fix and improve it,itll be even better for that guy.i may be leaving this phone behind but if anyone has an f6,i now know enough to hook them up.
for me i take pride in learning experience of phones and seeing if i can make them better.and now i have an ascend an f6 a droid 3 galaxy s3 and now an htc one sv under my belt in the knowledge department.we grow day by day,learning new things and applying it for the good of mankind,to help those less fortunate that may not grasp the concept.

after all we all started from the ground up,remember especially if your new or not as experienced,it takes awhile to be a god of any kind,we all were mortals at one point in time too,except dm,gametheory and a few others,theyve always been gods,worship them ;P

only like 40.you may not like it unless you just want it for testing.it has a cracked screen,still functions 100 percent though,so the crack only affects mainly white backgrounds,otherwise you wont notice its there really

Hey everyone I would first like to thank everyone that has be working on this rom. I have been playing with the cm11 and kk roms. I just installed this rom and everything is working great except for the Bluetooth has there been a kernel fix done for this. if so could someone please point me in the direction as i do alot of driving and I have missed pandora and the handsfree calling. Thanks again and Great Job.

Well.. Mainly cleanup. And mostly fixed BT. I really think the black screen is caused by something audio related. I notice skipping in the audio..and them the phone will reboot, or black screen.. I think its trying to use 48khz audio and should be 44khz .
 
I hate to ask such a stupid question. But you say the BT is mostly fixed so I guess the real question is I downloaded the Rom off the first page installed it and Gapps. Does this have the most current kernel or do I need to install another kernel. For the Bt fix. Also is there a log that I can pull up to possibly see why the phone is failing to connect. All I get on the phone side is a communications error. Thanks For all the work you have done DM
 
its not being released yet.dm already asked if i would like to beta test,it still has some tweaks he would rather have worked out though.since im selling my f6 i agreed to help test it for a bit.hes being cautious.remember he said he wants this to be the last main update fix,basically he wants it all working to full peaK PERFORMANCE.so sorry youll have to deal with the old one for now.

i got it to connect, now to fix the audio routing for bt headset
 
dm is doing the majority of the work its his baby.i guess as beta testers and knowledgeable gurus we have a part in it as well,but im not a developer,my skills are good but not that good lol.still we all play a role in it i guess to those less knowledgeable.in no way am i calling anyone stupid mind you,just some catch on to this and some dont.we all have our own level of expertise.i like the term contributer but im unsure if thats an auto tag or you have to get so many likes or something.not a power trip but be nice for some kind of guru title so people that are new can be like,hey this guy knows some stuff and is trusted.one of these days lol but for now i can dream ;P
 
Well I really hate to say this but I think I found a bug with the GPS I was using Map My Ride and both times I started it it crashed the whole phone I am not sure but I am wondering if it had something to so with the CPU speed. Just because when going in to the program and starting a workout the voice was very low toned and kind of slow responding. But I thought I would atleast say something about it just incase there is a problem. I have tried to find the performance settings for the CPU but either I am blind or dumb could be both. I am not able to find where you would go into changes the CPU settings. Thanks again
