Root [MetroPCS] [ROM][F6] Xperion ROM **Updated 2/11/2015**

New version? newest version? what Xperion rom has a bran bran new updated version as of lately or does he mean U knw this last version U have had going on a min here GameTheory? I'm only enquiring man I'm ONLY enquiring .

He was referring to the latest rom version.
 
And Im probubly off on this note as well but is there a dark background setting in the power filemanager for the Xperion ROM?
 
Hey GT so I got a huge problem or so it seams man I hope u can help I have no pc so I hope I can do a fix without one. OK so I did a complete complete internal wipe and wen I try to reflash xperion from from sd card twrp says I have no su and won't let me flash the rom. Is here like a f6 stock tool anything I can flash er somthin to get my system up an running again I deleted my last nandro backup because they always say fail when I try to save my butt with it. I HAD o data when I first flashed ur from but it never said my su was gone till this full wipe is there anything I can do through tarp? And when it says I have no su it asks if I wanna re gain su thru sliding the lil slider bar which u slide to flash zips on what not I'm at a loss can u plz help me I won't bother u again man my bad
 
Inside TARP says I don't have root, obviously because I have no internal system/data anything I never really did a wipe before and I didn't want any cache etc. Messin with the from. Although I had no data or anything on the system when I flashed you're rom and that worked fine even tho it said failed I red I rebooted and seen Xperion logo when I first brought this phone back to life so that's was odd. Damn seams like I could flash some kinda zip to get er to boot so I could reroot and redo from by I have no pc so idk. Well if U or anybody ANYBODY doesn't mind trying to give me a lil Input I would really appreciate it alot. I'M on a friends phn downloading any and everything I can tryin to fix this thing by way of TWRP, As far as options to give a shot at flashing somthin a rom of some sort I can't get Xperion rom going for obvious reasons.
 
Damn sorry again this isn't my phone so this dictionary has the person who owns the phones setup going on. & GT and all I obviously know the routeen this is my bad So to all reading this there is nothing at all wrong with GT's rom it's sweet I wanted to wipe & start fresh because I'm pretty sure the stock os cache was interfering with my phns performance. I wiped too much I guess. My last question is if I use a zip file manager "rar" I believe is one term for it, anyway can I zip form /create a zip that is out of supersu or maybe there's already a binary zip made for this type of situation idk but ya couldn't I just flash it inside TWRP or create a zip file out of towelroot to be able to get up and running again? I'M researchin hard I am. and I'm srry for callin out to U pro's here but I just Ned a point in the right direction. TWRP asks me if I want to root the phone or install su and gives me two options either slide the flash bar which is my agreeing to "reroot" "gain su again" if I do slide. If I opt and choose no it's a button press like the other buttons inside TWRP but grey instead of blackish. I'm sure U get my drift, but ya this is my situation and if there is a way please elaborate if U would. Again I apologize for all the posts I'm on another persons phone trying to handle this I know I'm annoying U all but a I need a hand bad.
 
Then I can, if this can be solved no pc that is, can get this rom installed properly and in turn help others with what I've learned. OK buff said y'all know my ordeal Im trying here myself not just expecting someone's time and help without trying everything I can find out myself I assure all and or any of you. Last word cause I'm beatin this call out for help to death here and feel and sound like a Damn idiot. ALL I know is I thought my phn was a gonner a long time ago Xperion is my first custom rom, and I know my internal data and everything was wiped clean showing 0 data for internal memory when I flashed xperion rom but didn't say I didn't have os, or root or su like TWRP is saying now. Is there not a way to gain root and su maybe by typing in some codes in TWRP terminal?

If that doesn't work then you'll have to get a hold of a friend with a PC that you can use and follow the unbrick guide in the following thread to restore your phone...

I do also have a little lag. Bench mark was over 12k while it was lagging. Is there a app I can grab and run to determine what is slowing it down? I do have the updated freedom kernal running at 1500 384 one demand cfq I don't have the SD hack yet. Just a little info about phone, to help me figure out what's going on.
 
Research a lil on init.d script's if U haven't already. I myself am just learning how to use the init.d scripts, U can run settings/tweaks to run at boot up,.Also I'm testing an app labled (Sefix) wich is suppose to solve some lag issues.

Hey GT So first off srry to bother U here HONESTLY & yes I knw and believe ur rom works very well so my issues are just that. But do U off hand maybe knw what could cause power filemanager to not allow me to creste a folder anymore?

Tbis is the first time its acted like tbis. I can move files around and place say a song in my music folder etc. but out of nowhere its not letting me create any new folders. Somtimes after reboot it will let me for for a while then it reverts back to not allowing me again to create any new folders for various content I'd like to place in them.

K last word on the create/no creation of a new folder within XperionROMS power file manager, I ran a test by creating a folder within root browser file manager app inside rom toolbox and it was created fine GT, So if I gotta create folder I'll just do it within rom toolbox. Oh last issue I noticed when moving a file say from internal to external SD, the content gets moved to where i want but it also leaves the content in the folder I moved it from as if it was never pasted to another destination in first place. I can just delete what was left behind and keep the moved content but that can be scary because SOMTIMES both folders are deleted earasing both copies, somtimes not.

Power file manager is a third party app from the play store. If you have an issue with it you can contact the developer or just use another one of the many file managers from the play store. I use Root Explorer paid version. ES File Manager is another popular one.
 
It's a system app as oppose to a user data app because some users don't follow the directions and wipe data after installing the rom rather than before which would leave them without the file manager.
