must have incredible apps

Do you know this for sure on the Incredible? That sucks it doesn't do 2007. Even my BB Storm let me edit 2007 documents, but I couldn't create them, which wasn't a big deal.
Do I know for sure? No. But unless the Incredible has a version that is otherwise not available, it won't do anything saved in 2007 format.

Quickoffice Premier 6 does offer Office 2007 support, but is not available for Android.

I love all the find my droid type programs. There is wavesecure which i found to be very good as well as a couple of others.

My concern is that most of these work based on text messages and honestly I would much rather see a similar system using email or google voice.

I don't pay for texts on the phone but still want the ability to track the phone.

Also for those of you interested you can use google latitude to know where your phone is at all times.

sign up at google latitude, no software needed, its handled through google maps

If your phone is lost, do you really care about paying for a text message or two to find it? I know I wouldn't.

I do like the apps that let you find it online via GPS, didn't know the google service would do that. Then at least I know if I lose the phone, I can check that before I spend 2 hours searching my house when it's sitting on my desk at work.

Sense UI has a built in ringtone maker. Try Feedr for rss, especially if you already use google reader

A good and useful thread, but it might help other users if you also include some brief details rather than simply link to a download source. Not only that, your post won't be mistaken for a link spammer. ;)

Thank you everyone, I have a huge list over at appbrain.. now in a few more days I will see what will actually work. I think most should given the similarities to the n1. but we shall see
