Not to be sexist, but...

I know a guy who jailbreak'd his iPhone so he could put gingerbread on it, which camp does he fall in?

Incidentally, I remember playing with my brother's iphone at one time, not doing anything just learning the controls & such... the whole time I was just like where's that freakin' back button?

Every time I use an iPhone I look for both the back and menu buttons. Freaking obtuse I tell you.... ;-)
 
ehhh this chick I know (she's really hot lol) uses iphones... but its ok cuz every time i look at her i am reminded why its ok... so hot...

Also, loved the Spinal Tap references. My personal favorite is when they are backstage before the show with the sandwiches. Wha-what 'm I supposed to do wiv it? Fold it? Who want's folded bread?! :D :D

Topic? What topic? Oh, right...not that anyone's going to be buying me a phone, but if I were presented with any of those girly phones, the gifter would be singing with the Vienna Boys' Choir.
 
My best friend is female and she uses Android. I actually owned an iPhone before she talked me into switching to an Android phone. The difference is amazing, I can't believe I contented myself with a... -retch- iPhone now.

I think women tend toward iPhones because it's trendy, it's a status symbol, and social forces tend to weigh more heavily on women. Any specific Android phone is another face in the crowd; and the spectrum of phones running Android is wide. All iPhones are high-end (at least as far as cost goes), and it is an immediately recognizable brand. I hold that it isn't that they like using iPhone's platform more, but that they want to be SEEN using the iPhone platform more.

Some might have chosen based on rational decision between the two, but I believe that most chose thusly because of social pressures.

Well, as a man you know, you take those daily injection of APP (anti-peer-pressure) and a once monthly dose of social-influenza the newly FDA approved anti-social pressure medication. I think both of these work on men because of the higher testosterone - but I'm not a MD ;)


On topic: I saw a male with an iphone today, didn't notice any other phones today :confused:
 
Android for me, iphone for wife, two sons converted to Android. At work I buy phones for employees. Two only wanted the simplest of feature phones, so they wouldn't have to learn anything complicated.
 
I've got an android and so has my other half - different phones though. It was between my phone (samsung galaxy s) and iphone but the sales guy showed me both and told me about them and said he preferred the galaxy so I got it. I do like it though have had a couple of problems recently.
 
I think we've all missed the obvious: Andro is "the Greek prefix meaning male, or masculine" so obviously Android phones are targeted at men.

Change Android to Sex. Change Apple to Cuddling. And the chart still holds true. Just an observation. A very scientific one.
