Here's what I wish I'd have done 3 weeks ago, take it to the store and let them either fix it or give you a new one. After messing with mine for 3 weeks I finally did that, to find out that the bulb was burned out, and since I had it over 14 days they couldn't exchange it at the store, warranty had to send me one...![]()
It SUX for a hardware issue to arise,especially out-of-the-box,I've been there myself & have seen friends phones as well,a camera flash dead on arrival,for instance.
I'm just glad that AT&T didn't give ya a bunch of flack ("You're holding it wrong,LOL")
 & took care of it.
