Root Odin (Return phone to Stock/Factory)

That's usually what happens... Something small and RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOUR FACE... lol...

I would definitely use a custom ROM since you've rooted your phone. I recommend either CM7or CTmod. Neither get the update.

OR

you could use the baseband switch which would put you back on the FA19 modem. Some people have had good luck with FA19 but I didn't. My signal and 3G went to POO. I run straight EJ06 with either of the ROMs above.

I'm not saying that it won't work on your phone though. There are quite a few people that have had good luck with the FA19 modem. If you don't want to run a custom ROM and don't want to use Autostarts, that would be another option for you. :D

after the fun ive had with flashing i just downloaded autostarts.

My phone is stuck in airplane mode because its baseband got erasec or something after updating. I've read that usually this means you have to send it to samsung but I read on xda that redoing the esf with esfbackup would work. Does anyone have the prevail esf for odin?
 
I think kolosus had to program it manually, but the efs partition contains info specific to your handset (i believe)

And I have no idea what that means... Was it ok that I included it or will it mess things up? So far it seems fine.. I don't use the prevail anymore but I'm looking to sell so I'm making sure everything is fine before doing so...
 
Okay. Is the Odin Multi_Downloader_v4.43.exe the same as the Odin talked about here?
What I downloaded when unzipped is titled PrevailOdinBackup. Thanks for the help.

When i am working toward bricking my phone, I want to know the correct version of something so I can avoid that and really brick it right (...of course I am joking!) :)
 
The version of Odin included in the dl's in the OP is the correct one (not by PC right now to check version)

never unplug while using odin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! might have just messed up!! not much can do if odin won't recognize. and won't turn on or nothing???
 
Thought it was taking too long ....stupid i know better ... now please help me . I already have am LG marquee with 3g radio i can't fix.. please genius people help
