It is becoming increasingly difficult for me to find time to keep up with all the posts here. I generally read 1 out of every 15 or 20 pages. There are simply too many useless posts. However I still look here for the first release of information.

Can we all please stop relaying everything the CSR's tell us? They don't know anything. They won't know anything until after we do. You're wasting your time calling them, but if you have to waste their time and your's, please don't post everything they say, because then you're wasting our time.

mentions that the source for the ComputerWorld rumor is an "angry VZW customer who chatted up customer service to find out what the deal was with the delayed launch. The rep he spoke with via online chat followed by a phone call, was clear that the phone would be available soon. That same rep also confirmed to the customer that a local store would be calling to let him know that they would be holding a G-Nex for him on launch day, December 8."

So it seems like our source for this is just another online rep for Verizon. :/

Guys... I think we're getting ourselves hyped up way too much. If they're going to start pre-orders tomorrow, we'll hear something official beforehand. They've still got a couple of hours before close of business, but if we haven't heard anything by 6:00ish Central time, I'd say there's no sense staying up late.

Of course, if you're already up, then knock yourselves out ;)

I'm kinda thinking the same thing...I'd like to touch it first to see how big it really is. I'm not sure what plan B is though at this point.....

Wonder if you pre order it, if you get next day shipping, or you just go into a que for shipping at a future date. All things that need to be answered.

Not even that solid of a source. It's an angry customer who talked to a Verizon Rep.

Playing with my son in between posts. He is due for his second nap any minute now. When he doesn't want to nap, he lets me know! Tried for the nap 45 minutes ago and he smacked me...went back out to the living room for some reading and horse play. He's 13 months, so the smacking is cool, for now :p

No doubt, but I just don't get changing the OP and starting the celebration when there hasn't been any announcement from Verizon yet. Could they just start a pre-release without one? Sure, but is it likely? No. I know it's not popular, but after all everyone has been through it would be nice to insert a small amount of pragmatism into the conversation.
 
Am I correct that we can't use the living social coupon for online orders? If that's the case I'll probably cancel mine as I'd like to be able to preorder whenever that happens.

I think you can pre-order in a store and have the device shipped to the store, but I'm not sure how they'd work paying for it with a coupon. Might just have to cancel that living social thing. $25 isn't that much.

Side Note: Does anyone feel like Han found out something from Hannetta, got himself (purposefully) placed on double secret probation because he knew he wouldn't be able to keep it secret from us (cos he loves us), and is currently waiting in the wings (read: Millennium Falcon) to bring us the good word at the right time?

It's what we've done all along so why change now. That's my take on it. Yes, we will most likely be up and just be chatting but on the off chance we open for orders I wanna do it with my fanatical family
