Maybe there will be a surprise Gnex commercial?
If there's a commercial it's because it was scheduled a while ago and someone forgot to pull it in all of this confusion..

Thank you everyone for yor support, stories, and sympathy both public and private. Sorry I bummed everyone out this afternoon with such a sad subject, but I really wanted to get the word out about the rescue and the puppy.
BB could you maybe link my first post so everyone knows about the website?
I'll be lurking in the shadows, liking all the news and funny posts. Hopefully I'll feel up to joining in a bit more after the release.
You are right about one thing. You dont know much about football. What you said just makes no sense, I am not even a fan of his or the Broncos, I was making a point that he knows how to win. by the way the guy is nothing like Paris Hilton
oh and surprise you are from the chicago area surprise
Enough said

"He knows how to win" is the single most utterly BS throwaway statement in sports. It means nothing.
Did he come down with Acute Temporary Winners Amnesia in the loss?
Tebow: Terrible QB, but, if you're denying that he is winning these games, you're crazy. Kid was 3-for-19ish before the 4th quarter. Then, he went like 17-for-23 or something like that. I am sick of hearing about him, but, really, his will to win is ridiculous. BTW, Tebow has more college national championships that Brady, Manning, etc. So... if you're saying he doesn't "win things" in that respect, as a first year starter, it would be hard.
(on another note, I really don't like Tebow the FB player. Tebow the person is fine. But, you should live in FL and hate the Gators... you learn to hate Tebow. Ugh, I am sick of it, but, he's got something, I don't know what it is, but, it's something).
Barber: Picked him up in fantasy. He had a great game for me (20 points). Wish he hadn't cost me 2 points with the fumble... and got that extra 35 yards and TD that were ahead of him if he hadn't coughed up the ball. How heartbreaking for the Bears though. I was pulling for them, not that I care, but, I AM sick of hearing about Tebow and didn't want to see that happen.
Wildcard: Why does Arizona start Kolb? Skelton is better, and actually likes to throw to Fitzgerald, who was on my bench today because Kolb doesn't throw the ball to him.
On topic:
I'd love to have a Tuesday web-release. I could order and have delivered to work. I have a long week coming up and don't know when I will be able to get to the store.![]()
OT:
I meant philly defense had 9 sacks, I was complementing your team, not saying vick got sacked 9 times (although I wouldn't be surprised). lol
OT:
Sooo...was anyone lucky enough to get a Touchpad from the eBay sale? I started the second they went on sale and STILL wasn't able to get one. I must have clicked "Buy It Now" 200 times... Ugh... Not a good start to the week.
Then again, maybe I actually BOUGHT 200 of them![]()
Sorry about that! Watching hockey, kind of half here!
Let's go, Blackhawks!
I got mine from Office Max the day they went on sale for $99.
Look I'm not going to comment on Tebow being good or bad- the guy "wins games". Now the story that is still yet to be told:
They changed the entire offensive game scheme to fit a college style. This REALLY worries me. For example- last year the "wildcat" was the thing. But guess what it did'nt stick around because COLLEGE game plans do not work in the NFL. Defenses are too fast to react, and once this happens the Broncos will be in a lot of trouble since they invested their entire season and game plan into one person on the team. I'm not saying this unorthodox way of playing in the NFL is bad, all I'm saying is whats going to happen when defenses adapt and start seeing exactly what theyre doing in film?
Go Sharks! Since 1991 baby!
I feel like we are all beaten down and afraid to get excited

OT -- warning, this is a long and sad story about my absence over the end of the week. Please do read it though because I have a really important message at the end I want to share!
Friday was possibly one of the worst days of my entire life. One of our puppies, Lucy got very sick very quickly. I thought it was just from her vaccines, but after a nap with her Daddy, she wouldn't wake up so I rushed to meet them at the vet ER. She declined very quickly and suffered multiple seizures as we learned her liver was failing and so was the rest of her tiny body. She was only 7.5 lbs at 13 weeks while her sister Scout is a healthy and hearty 12 lbs. Lucy was also suffering from an extremely severe gastrointestinal infection, the worst the emergency vet said she had ever seen. We took her in around 4 and by 7, we had to put her down. We are devastated as you can imagine. I haven't stopped crying for more than 20 minutes since Friday night.
When we got home after, our first concern was our other puppy and how she would handle it, we started talking about when we might be ready to find her another sister. I realized that we didn't know the adoption status of two of their sisters (2 of the other girls and the 1 brother were adopted around the same time we brought Scout and Lucy home). Apparently Lucy's former foster mom had the same idea - she sprung into action and arranged for us to adopt one of them at no attentional charge. So yesterday morning, we bravely faced that decision.
When we saw the two girls, we realized how gravely ill Lucy had always been. Her growth was clearly stunted by whatever disease had destroyed her liver. They were big happy healthy puppy girls. We brought home one of them - we have named her Boo. She has been a blessing - she's literally perched on my shoulder right now as i lounge on the couch typing this. She's so affectionate and reminds us so much of Lucy - but she has quickly become a wonderful playmate and companion for Scout as well. Scout is still struggling somewhat. She whined liked I'd never heard her before when her Daddy just left, I can't imagine how sad she would be with no sister by her side.
It's going to be hard for a while, especially seeing Lucy's grave outside and seeing so much of her personality in Boo, but we feel so thankful that she chose us to be her parents while she was on earth. We are so blessed to have been able to give her sister a home too.
But there is still one of their litter mates left in foster care, so in dedication to Lucy I have made it my mission to find her a home for the holidays! And in the end, that is the reason for this very long post, so I hope you have made it this far!
Please have a look at Jambalya!!
If you don't live in Michigan, please pass this along to anyone you know who does! She is a healthy, happy, loving, energetic girl who is great with other dogs and cats. She seems to really like kids too and I bet would be the perfect first dog because she always wants to play. She is almost completely house broken as I understand as well. Jambalaya is about 13 lbs and 13 weeks old, so a bit bigger than the picture on her website. She is also all up to date on her shots (so she only needs one more round of boosters and a rabies shot this year). If you live in Metro-Detroit you may recognize the name of the rescue because they were some of the leaders in the Save Ace campaign.
Anything you can do to help me find this little girl a home would mean the world to me under these circumstances.
Also, not sure how to upload a photo? I'd love to show off the last one of me and Lucy so you can all see what a loving baby she was.
If you made it to the end, thank you for reading this. I guess my Gnex puppy photo comparisons will be a little different now.

With all due respect, I completely disagree with you. Not just about Tebow. Some QBs, when you're down in the 4th and you give the ball to (Eli, Peyton, Brady...), you feel good about your odds.
Situation: It's the Super Bowl, 4th quarter, you're down by 4, 3:00 to go.
Do you want Eli Manning, or, Donovan McNabb (in his prime)? I'd take Manning. He has shown me that when the chips are down, he has a knack for getting his team in the game. McNabb on the other hand, probably was a better overall QB in his prime, but, when the chips were down, he tended to choke.
you know... I'd probably take Eli over Peyton in that scenario as well. There is no question that Peyton is the better QB, but, Eli's game elevates in those situations. The same can be said for Timmy.
Off topic football:
Seriously tho, just because he is terrible for most of the game and then decent in the 4th quarter doesn't mean he is winning them the games. The defense is. If they had a decent qb they wouldn't need a come back every game. And marion barber basically handed them this game.
I know it hurts, so take care of yourself and worry about a stupid phone some other time.Thank you everyone for yor support, stories, and sympathy both public and private.
