Oh, thanks... but I was talking about him in Houston. He has an appointment downtown, but said that's an hour away from his house and normal VZW store. I was trying to make it so he could do the appointment without missing out on the GN. I have my GN reserved at RadioShack in Cranberry. I feel soooo much better knowing there's one with my name on it!

I think you can shop Wireless Advocates for no surcharge. I ordered a ReHound on Black Friday for $50 and they never asked me for a COSTCO membership number.
 
Any word on whether we'll be able to get Swype for the GN? I have a Galaxy Tablet 10.1 and it didn't come with Swype, however I was able to download it off the website. I don't really want to live without it, so I'm gonna have to find one way or another to get it on there. I appreciate any help!!
 
Good morning! I think this is it. I've been sick with a cold since last friday when I took off hoping for the launch but today I woke up feeling well. That has to be a good sign right?

Plus, most stores open at 8 or 9. If it's 8, you're golden. If it's 9, just drive to the one closest to the appointment and be there when the doors open. That way you'll have time to do the upgrade and still make the appt.

oh you are certainly correct, there is a VZW like 5 minutes walk from my office but I'm just loyal and a rep at the VZW store by my place called me twice in the last week to keep me informed so I want to give him the sale.

There is temptation all over the place to make me go against my better judgement but I want no "evil spirits" hanging over me and my new phone so I will bite the bullet and reward my rep and keep my appointment. Sad that I will have to wait until later in the day but I'll feel better about myself after it is all over.

Mine arrived two days ago...

I like my phones naked... and I only like a "barely there" case for grip...

Of course I don't have a phone to put into it... but this feels good, looks good, and meets my barely there requirements... I think you'll like it.
