I'm done with posting anything related to dates because I feel like I'm just being a moron. I posted that ... walked to my bosses desk.. Answered a question about a spreadsheet. Walked back to my desk to a ringing phone ... answered. "Hey ... I was wrong again"

So I surrender at this point. No news was better than this "yes/no/what are you talking about/yes/maybe/absolutely not/yes definitely" stream.

Leaving it to you guys now to tell me when to go to the store!
 
I just got a call from my verizon corp store wanting me to set a time to come in tomorrow to pickup my phone, haven't called her back. I have a deposit on one for tomorrow at a premium dealer because they wouldn't give me any info the last time i called the corp store.

Sounds like a plan. I grew up in Wexford and lived in Seven Fields for a short while. Cranberry it is! Was the RS you are talking about this HH Gregg store I'm finding in searches?
 
Guys! Check with your local Radioshack now!

Remember that rumored "Do not sell till 12/14/11" date? Well I just came back from the Radioshack by where I live...this is the same one that has been telling me the generic "We have no information" for the past two weeks including yesterday. Today I came in and asked if they had it in stock, the guy went to the back and checked he said "we have about 10 in stock right now but let me call my manager to see if I can sell them". He called his manager and came back to me and said "Yes you can buy one right now, today is our release date." He turned the screen to me and showed in their system where it says it is now allowed to be sold in all locations. He then brought out the box and allowed me to play with it for a while.

The only reason I am not sitting with one in my hand right now is because I do not have an upgrade anytime soon and he told me that they are not allowed to sell the phone at full price ($799 for Radioshack) and I might want to stop by Verizon tomorrow. I have no idea why they don't allow to sell the phone for a premium (maybe they lose commission). But he told me straight up that anyone can upgrade or buy one with a new plan in Radioshack right now.

Go Go Go PEOPLE!!!!! :D

Yes. I contacted my local reseller, and he told me with 100% certainty that he had them in stock. I asked him if he would please take my name & phone number and hold one for me and he said ABSOLUTELY. They open at 10am. I will be there at 9:55.

I live in an area populated with mostly elderly folks. While I am not saying its not possible for them to be tech savvy...well, most of them just aren't. So I'm not too worried about not getting one.

Did not know Verizon was expanding coverage in my area. Nexus and hopfully better 4g reception at my house. Double win!

lol I'm not taunting..a million people are PMing me, and you know how laggy AF is, I havent been on the forums all day because of finals week (BB will back me up! :)) and I just came on to give you guys the link of the thread with all the information on it, they're really nice people and will work with you on shipment..Idk how much more you want from me lol.

With that being said, good luck all- I really hope we all get it and not some joe shmo's who just walk into VZ.

Wait, what? I called the Boylston St and Downtown Crossing stores a little over an hour ago as well, both claimed they either didn't have stock or didn't know.

I HAVE MY PRECIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!! CSR I'm cool with let me buy one today. It's not activated yet though. He said he would do it for me in the morning once its official. He also said the word about the delay is that VZW has been trying to push the razor hard, and wanted to give them at least 30 days. Going to let it charge up for 2 hours before I turn this bad boy on and play with it. Taking all my willpower not to turn it on now. Good luck to the rest of you, and hopefully I wake up tomorrow to my first 4G LTE phone working!

EDIT:
I picked this up in NJ near manhattan. Don't mean to be shady but I dont want to get anyone fired. Also not a corporate store
