OK, I called my Corp V Store and told him I was planning on being there in the AM to purchase the GN. He replied "Awsome!, my name is JXXXX and whom will I be looking for?" I told him my 1st name and he said, "Great, ask for me!".

Long time lurker, first time poster... I've got my fingers crossed for tomorrow! and in preparation for the big day....Can anyone recommend a case? I'm between one from case-mate.com or tpu-cases.com, but I welcome any suggestions!

I'm betting on number 2. Though last week we got substantial rumors from DL and the twitterers and the delay was basically confirmed very quickly days ahead of the supposed launch. This week all the blogs/twitterers are still saying tomorrow is a go. I'm just as hopeful as the next guy, but hope doesn't buy me a Nexus.

i respectfully disagree with your assessment. simply put, there aren't enough weeks that make sense in december to be weeks away from launch. the evil empire, in conjunction with samsung, have guaranteed that the phone will launch in december. they would be insane to launch around christmas as too many people are away/traveling and, as unenthusiastic as they seem to be, they still are in this business to make $$$. with that said, it's far more likely that vz, being freshly burned by the botched release last week, decided to tighten up the leaks via threats (or whatever means of persuasion at their disposal) and remain tight-lipped until they know, for sure, that all systems are go for launch... hopefully tomorrow.

Nope. I've been to several stores, and they all have been pretty catty about even asking about it. It's one thing to say you can't say anything, but you don't have to be a Nixon about it.
 
just called two separate stores, within a few blocks of each other (one is in a mall, the other in a shopping plaza down the road) - one said they don't have a release date yet, the other said tomorrow is still tentatively a go...
 
I'm currently in the believing tomorrow is the day camp. Last week this time the downward spiral had already started earlier in the morning. Right now there is no downward spiral and things keep going up and up. Pretty soon some folks may need to be muzzled because of the frothiness. :)

Stay frothy until we get our nexii. That way VZW associates know what you are in the store for tomorrow!

How did you manage to pre-order it?

Good Luck all I gotta get back to school work, and chill with the PM's lol. Just get in touch with the store and they'll help you out (they only have 6 left I think). The guys there are really nice and helpful.
 
The stores are funny. I had almost 0 luck calling around the Ann Arbor, Michigan area. All 4 Corp Stores gave me the same lines, "no info, can't comment on stock". Radio Shack near me still only had the one Galaxy Nexus I held the other night and no info on the release.

I tried to other non-corporate stores. One guy was as annoyed as I was but admitted to having 0 stock and no idea when it was coming out. The other store told me she had 0 stock but that she will be able to order it tomorrow, so I should be able to buy one.

* Anyone that has a significant other that is wondering when this phone is finally going to be in our grubby hands, so we will finally not spend so much time on this thread with our new friends. Bad news- it's gonna get worse b4 it gets better! Cause when we do get this phone(tomorrow), not only will we be playing with the phone but we will ALSO be here. Even though it will be a different thread, we will still be here!

HA! Park Meadows! I used to live down in that area for a while. My brother worked at Galeans (sp?) back in the day before Dicks bought them out. I'm out in DEN every to every other weekend and I usually stay down in the DTC/Araphoe & I25 area.
 
I called my VZW store 3x today all with different accents. When I asked them if the Nexus would be available tomorrow, I was told No, second try was maybe and now was just told YES!!

I will be online at 7:30 lol

No app needed for wired tether. It's included and operational at the OS level.
