theres a place in MD already mailing them out and a member on here is already having one overnighted to them, what say you (and the tampa store) to that?

Darn too late, i just sent a major virus to their database in Baskingridge, it knocked out their whole website and gave all of the VP's genital warts :(

Well I just called mine too and they said they had no inventory. However, I was there Monday and one guy said they had it in stock just no release date yet. So they're all just keeping quiet
 
I was a little worried about posting this, but since a few negative posts have been popping up, I guess I should add mine:

I have been talking the ear off of one of my friends about the Galaxy Nexus. I've been telling her how awesome and blah blah blah it will be. Anyway...for her birthday today, her boyfriend bought her an iPhone4S. Since she was at the Verizon store, she asked about the Nexus. She sent me this from her new iPhone:

"The verizon person also told me that they heard rumors that the new phone was going to miss its second launch. Just an FYI"

I couldn't tell if she was just rubbing it in my face that she got a new phone, or if she was being serious. She hasn't returned any of my emails/texts to give me any other info.

Oh well.....:(

Not corporate. Reseller in MD. And at this point it looks like they may not ship it, or if they do he may not be able to activate it.

Any word from Cheetara on why they are cancelling the release AGAIN? Verizon sucks.

A good chance the seller hasn't received the latest update. I hope there's a revolt at the resellers. I'd pay full price tomorrow if that was the only way to get one, if nothing else just so Verizon doesn't have me on lock down for the next 2 years.
 
Great news! The corporate store I visited last Friday on the off chance the nexus still came out had taken down my name and number and said they'd call when they had more info.
Well the lady just called me and told me she just received an email saying tomorrow is the day and asked if I'd like to make an appointment! I said hell yes, 9am! She said that sounds great.
So excited now!! This definitely seems more official than last time!
 
Just called my Lake Orion Store.
He has FORTY DEVICES SINCE TWO WEEKS AGO.

Asked him about getting a no-go email. Said nope, as far as we know it's tomorrow, but i'll call you and let you know if anything changes.

so... fingers crossed. I'm getting off AF.

If this is another repeat of last week. I quit,

More phones will be going out tomorrow. A lot more. Maybe its a new profit making technique by Verizon, tell all third party retailers the release is on, then cancel last minute, and fine all those that didn't follow (or didn't even see) the instructions.
 
Troubling trend now, it's really amazing so many stores and customers keep being played for fools. Very close to not renewing my contract with Verizon now.
