Just got back from my corp. Verizon store, the manager said that phones are being shipped overnight. He took my # and told me he'd call as soon as they come in.

Why would Verizon announce it during EST business hours? They're even late to that. Oh well.

I could not be more excited for this phone. I've already visited a couple Verizon stores to try and get some hands on time with it - both of which said it hasn't been announced so we can't show it to you (?) - but of course to no avail. I've never felt this way about a piece of technology, and I'm not sure I ever want to again. But I'm glad you all were here for support. I'm gonna miss all of you.

anyone familiar with these releases think corporate stores will actually sell out of phones? we are obviously a vocal minority but dont know how this will translate into real life sales tomorrow. i may not be able to get to the store till after 5

That settles it - I am leaving work before the first store opens tomorrow. I go in at 7:00, and I found a store that opens at 8:00. Oh yeah!!

Maybe I should just go in late, or not go in at all
