Ohhhhhh I want this pre ordered at 1 am tonight but I have to deal with the logistical nightmare that is a family plan on Sprint. NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When most people say this...entertainers, athletes, politicians...it's usually just BS lip service. But coming from you Steven, I believe you when you say it. It really is amazing how if you read someone's writing long enough, you can really develop a mental picture of what they're like.

That's why the outpouring of gratitude towards you on this board. And how I picture Early as a wise, all-knowing wizard and, despite her best effort to prove otherwise, OTD is really a kitten...fangs and all! ;)

I am so excited and frustrated at the same time. Obviously, I am excited to know the phone goes on sale tomorrow, but I am frustrated because the only place in town that would reserve me a phone has not received word that he can sell it tomorrow. Now I have to decide if I want to go deal with the corporate vultures or hold out hope that Radio Shack will get approval tomorrow.
 
True to her word, my wife brought my baby home to me, and she is beautiful! This post is being made using this incredible device through my home wifi connection as it cannot be activated until tomorrow. First impression is that the curved screen is really understated. Second impression is the thin nature of this phone compared to the rezound I've been using for the past month, which tomorrow becomes my wife's Rezound. Lastly, the screen is beautiful though very dim. I am definitely going to need to adjust the brightness. Well I'm off to better familiarize myself with ice cream sandwich.
 
I've been lurking this forum since the unveiling of the phone, but now that it has finally been made official it's time to celebrate and create an account here!
Thanks to each everyone of you guys and gals for all the updates and laughs.

Sooo Excited that this is finally happening. This thread has gotten so large and been consuming my life for so long. Thanks to everyone here who helped, who had insights, who had funny stories, and just made this thread not that awful to come look at every ten minutes for the past two months. Happy Nexus day!
 
Wow! Today's announcement activated my secondary, tertiary, and quaternary honking (with delight) systems!

Just want to send out a special congratulations to all of my former Incredible Thread buddies. You know who you are, and you all know where you were when you saw the picture and the video below. Can't believe it's been that long since we were about to get the Incredible. I am finally leaving the Dinc after a wonderful time with it. I'll be getting the Gnex tomorrow. It was a nice ride. I'll see you all in the future! Enjoy your new phone!

What the CSR is saying is partially true. What can be done is to get a manager to allow you to upgrade it early with the discount but you have to do it right there and then. I think the overwrite process involves the purchase of the new phone.

If CSRs aren't being helpful, just call in again and say "cancel my account". The next CSR will help you.

if you had these two options which would you picK

-go to VZW tomorrow morning get the phone for $299

-get the phone from an online site that'll arrive Friday afternoon but it's $199

I CANT PICK!

  1. Must have paid your bill on time
  2. Must be a reasonably long term customer
  3. Must have a reasonably large bill
  4. Must have good luck getting a nice CSR
