Oh man! Decisions! I want my phone in the morning but I need to get it for $249, like offered online. I have an 18% corporate discount on phone service. Will that do anything for me?
 
I think I just need to take a step back and re-evaluate my purchase options in the morning after local stores and phone customer service is open. I think I might try calling that VP office I talked with a few weeks ago to see if I can get any kind of discount. I just hope it doesn't sell out in the meantime!

So I guess this will be my last post in this thread. I probably won't get back online until later morning tomorrow and I'm on the West Coast. So good night everyone!

I don't blame ya. 3-4 days might just be an ass-covering clause, but $75 isn't worth the risk in my mind. Can you imagine if you didn't get the phone until Monday or Tuesday? That'd suck big time! Especially if after doing so, you realized you just locked yourself in for the whole term....ugh. Everyone should just go pick it up in 5 hours! You'll be much happier! Lol

For some reason when I clicked 1000 text messages.. the phone dropped like 30 bucks for me instantly... I wonder why?
 
I was mostly a lurker here (except for the puny 100-200 posts I sprinkled in throughout the last month) so I won't be missed but I will miss reading this thread and about the people in it. Honestly, this thread made the wait for this phone about 50x harder! :D but in the end I think after I get the Galaxasorous Nex it will make it even more satisfying.

Thanks to this forum I've learned lots about phones and because of the job done by the powers in charge I will definitely be returning here for all my phone questions, comments, and inquiries!

But.....considering how addicted I am to this site now, I'm sure I'll keep lurking. In the words of a crappy goo goo dolls song, I'm addicted.

I believe the corp discount gets you an instant rebate instead of mailing in for it (if mail in rebate is offered)

LetsTalk gives you more of a discount when you select 1000 text message option. It's like an incentive for you to choose the more expensive option.

Well wouldn't you know, got my email from Samsung about the Nexus being available from Verizon. It only came 3 hours after the phone was released. SMH...
 
Well I can't order the phone till i see it in person; have to make sure the audio is loud enough et all. I'll probably go by corp store at 8am and see if they have a demo; and play with it and then decide to either buy it then; or do the online job. No offense but I just can't see buying a phone i never played with to ensure it is the right phone for me.

That's weird cause I tried buying it again but selecting the 1000 text plan instead (everything else stayed the same, upgrade on family plan) it came out to $30 less.

Well, to be fair, you'd still have the return policy even if you did.... but I know what you mean.

Most of the time, it's just not worth saving 50, 100 or even more because they'll get ya with little stipulations or longer wait times or a million other things.
