I can't help but think that it was a lot of the OT stuff that allowed us all to get to know each other more...at least in the cyber sense.

This was a thread for the ages.

Half the day will be playing with the Gnex and the other half will probably be running errands and Christmas shopping. :)

There's nothing that beats accompanying your spouse on a company paid trip! My wife and I try to do the same though we haven't had as much fun travel per se (traveling from PA to exotic Rahway, NJ).

LMAO regarding MW3 - my buddy and I are totally hooked on coop and survivor mode. We sneak time in whenever his infant son and my daughter are down for the night.

And teachers are totally under-recognized for what they do and what assets they are to the community. My mom was a teacher for +40 years in the same school if you can believe it and took a well deserved retirement last year.
 
I decided to wait a few weeks to root (if I can resist). This way I can make sure there is nothing wrong with the phone that would make me want to return it. That would save me the whole un-root/re-lock hassle. Besides that will give me another hour or two of enjoyment once I am bored with staring at the phone in amazement. :D

Substitute multiplayer for coop and this is exactly what my buddy and I do most nights. I get the same text from him at around 8 o'clock at night... "hopping on when you get the kiddo down?" Haha, see this is exactly what I mean about this thread. Good stuff.

And thank you for the teacher comment. And a serious congrats to your mom. She's earned it.

Talk about being a newb - I get royally thrashed on multiplayer of any game. Seems the young 'uns have faster reflexes and better coordination than me. :o

T-minus 2 and a half hours until I (finally) get my hands on this beautiful beast!

I want to thank everybody who's participated here the last couple months for keeping me sane.

Special thanks to the Mods (Steven, OTD, Phases, etc) Who kept the conversation civil for that long. Its amazing to find a place this friendly and helpful.

I'm heading out in a minute. Getting mine from the downtown Pittsburgh corporate store. They open at 8 so I shouldn't even be late getting to work this morning! The woman I talked to late yesterday said they would hold one for me since I was the first person to call after the official announcement.

Using a rent-a-razr right now, so wish me luck that they don't give me any hassle over my exchange!

Good luck with the exchange - I have a rent-a-rezound that I got when switching over from T-mobile and wanted to lock in double-data. I think it'll be easy enough - just remember to take your receipt in case the CSR gives you any funny business about the exchange.

Good luck! It's dead in Cranberry. I have one being held for me at RadioShack, but VZW wouldn't hold it. I still have two hours and 15 mins to go, so I'm really hoping other ppl show up!
