This will be my last post in this thread!

Just wanted to say thank you to the mods and guides for keeping this place in check. Steven, OTD, Early, Phases, and Rob, you guys did an amazing job. When you needed to be tough, you were tough. When everyone was peachy, you were more-so. It's great to have a community where there isn't constant flaming happening, and you guys are to thank for that. Special thanks to OTD for the warm welcome for my first post

Thanks to all of the contributors! Whether it was because you guys were funny, or were knowledgeable, or had insiders keeping us in the loop, the conversations here were entertaining. Everyone here is amazing! I'm glad we have built this community, since in the future when any of us need help, someone will be standing by not to flame, not to scream "Use the damn search button!", but to help. Service with a smile.

Han, thanks to you and Cheetara for posting info when you guys had it. It was real gutsy to do. I can say that, IMO, your postings were as believable and trustworthy as The Source's. You became a person that I didn't have to question or second guess as to if you were trolling or not. Your honesty and integrity are much appreciated brother! Hope my post to you about holding off when you were tempted by the Costco ReZound deal paid off for you today.

I already said my thanks to The Source, but I'll say it again. Thanks for everything that you did.

And of course, Steven. While I mentioned you above, I have to say, you were the rock that kept us all together. I think if someone weaker was in your position, we would have fallen apart on November 17th when everyone was SURE that was the date. But your encouraging words made all of our bonds stronger. Thank you!

And now, I'm going to lurk until the closing. In before the lock! And for my last sentence in this thread, I'll repeat something my friend told me after getting baked out of his mind one night...

Got my phone at 9 at my BJs!!!! Whoo!!! Been following this phone even before this thread came out. I've been lurking here from the beginning.

I just ordered mine online so that I could get my ne2 (didn't want to pass up $50 or wait til 12/28) I just wanted to thank the mods and all the regulars for the info and cheerful atmosphere.
 
Its everything I wanted and more!!! I'm posting from it now!!!! I'm not worthy I'm not worthy!!!! I'm having trouble controlling the volume of my voice!!!!!

Edit: my 100$ off didn't go through she was only able to get me 50$ off the phone and told me to call back and get customer service to credit my account another 50$.

I just ordered via LetsTalk.

I went to the Leesburg VA store this morning shortly after they opened, and there was just one guy upgrading his OG -- he was also totally into the phone. I figured that if I could to finagle any kind of discount, plus factor in the discount on accessories, that I'd buy there and walk home with one. With all of the uncertainty over the 3-pin car dock, and the fact they didn't have any docks, I just didn't think I could cover the gap enough between the store price and LetsTalk.

So I might have to wait until next week. I can definitely put the money saved to better uses.

Thanks to all who contributed so much info and entertainment on this thread. I have never seen anything like it (and hope to never again!)
 
Called up my biz rep to ask about upgrading my phone. She says - "Wow that's a $300 phone!" (sounded like she'd never heard of the Nexus). Got the $100 off 4G promo. She says "What time do you want to come in and pick it up?" Muaahaaahaaaaa.

In a couple hours, precious will be mine.

Just walked in to VZW and the line is 20 deep...ahhhhhhhhhh Worst of all I was greeted by the b30tch mgr that I HATE. Will not let her ruin this day. If I did not have $150 in savings stacked up here I would be at Best Buy. The anticipation builds
