You could be right on the money. They could stick in a larger batter for the LTE version for Verizon. One can hope anyway.
Agreed. The 1750mAh battery listed in the release is slightly disappointing...

I have to say Verizon just had an epic day in cell phone history. Two stellar android phones announced in one day. I honestly didn't see this coming and am quite shocked. Verizon just made history today![]()
Kinda off-topic, but I wish Google would release a CD of this creepy music stuff we're hearing. I like it!

Do we know the Mods are going to lock the thread at the beginning of the announcement???? Why not the END?
We can still hit 12K, I assure you!
15 minutes until we all start spasming out!
I guarantee that people will miss the days when all we had were rummers and speculations about this phone. .I personally liked the hype and the excitement. .i think most of us will miss it (especially the ones who will be let down with the outcome)
It was fun boys

I suggest that you go review the Site Rules, DUDE. While we have a relaxed attitude to mild everyday-type language, it's stated clearly that members are expected to respect the sensitivities of others.
We also expect members to behave like adults and show some responsibility and restraint. Just like in a bar or restaurant and somebody politely asked you to tone your language down.
This is an exciting time for many of us, so let's not have the mood spoilt by a minor misunderstanding.
Let's hit that 12K... even without our Hansolo!! Hope we can get some actual launch dates at the announcement. Not some "will be release in a few weeks" stuff.
Based on that link, the 4430 is lower than the data spec link I was using:
It is an issue of semantics, since "up to" is the stable max speed recommended to device makers. This suggests that the stable recommended speed is 1ghz for the 4430 and 1.5ghz for the 4460. I was wrong, since the 4430 is not up to 1.2ghz.
- OMAP4430 operates at up to 1 GHz
- OMAP4460 operates at up to 1.5 GHZ
This SHOULD mean the Razr has a 4460, unless overclocking above recommended speed by the OEM.
If it's better than my Droid, and stock vanilla LTE, I'm all over it. I really don't care if it's 1.2 or 1.5 GHz. I don't game or anything. I doubt a fraction of us will push this thing to its far limits, anyway.
Besides, where's the CDMA? Where's Verizon? Hmmmm....
We'll all still be here, in one thread or another, complaining about something![]()
Hoping the Verizon specs are better, but not feeling it.
