ok who cares already dude

I suggest that you go review the Site Rules, DUDE. While we have a relaxed attitude to mild everyday-type language, it's stated clearly that members are expected to respect the sensitivities of others.

let the mods do there jobs that's why they are mods to regulate

We also expect members to behave like adults and show some responsibility and restraint. Just like in a bar or restaurant and somebody politely asked you to tone your language down. :)

This is an exciting time for many of us, so let's not have the mood spoilt by a minor misunderstanding.

Any idea what the sound chip is on this phone? I really would like to use this as my main mobile mp3 instead of my cowon since I own a couple of high end cans. Be nice to use it as a phone and mp3.

Anybody know if 1.5GHz makes much of a performance difference over 1.2GHz?? Or are the gains marginal at best?

It's a 25% boost in the CPU, and perhaps also the GPU. A response time improvement below 15% isn't noticeable to most people, so 25% is just a little more perky. Not night and day.

wasn't the reason for the OMAP4460 1.2ghz on LTE to conserve battery. .and so the GSM on HSDPA just MIGHT be an exynos

We don't know for sure why it's 1.2GHz. Could be battery, could be poor yields (in contrast to a previous poster's claims), or a combination of both.

The 4430 = 306mhz

The 4460 = 384mhz

A 1.5GHz 4460 has 384MHz GPU, but if the clocks are locked then a 1.2GHz 4460 would have a correspondingly slower GPU.
