Hey everyone. Just got caught up. So unfortunately, real life still moves on, and I have to make an unexpected trip to MN to attend my grandmothers memorial, as she passed today. I hope you don't mind if I stick around, because hanging out here is a very fun part of my day, and she wouldn't want me moping around being a bump on a log.

Yeah, its easy to get cheered up here. Plus with me having to leave my family behind, since we couldnt afford plane tickets for everyone, I will probably be around a lot, Haha.

Your sad news kind of puts everything we do here into perspective. Sorry for your loss.
 
I stopped by Verizon after work to check out the Razr. I really liked the feel of how thin it was but other than that it was not enough to take my eye off our prize. The rep told me that the store opened at 11:11 this morning due to contract requirements with Motorola. He said they actually had to turn people away until that time. How silly! I guess I can see the offering it on 11/11 but opening later just for a gimmick that I am sure most people weren't even aware of and losing other potential sales!? :confused:

and...I love how he can't just say it. Even though its not from Verizon's mouth. If you subliminally say, its coming out the day before turkey day with a preorder the night before...Whats the difference at that point instead of saying its coming out the 23rd and preorder on the 22nd.

I went to Verizon at 11:15 am...There were more employees than costumers.So much for that big wait for this phone. The phone was nice but not nice enough to make me want it,I will still wait.

You mean they didn't even OPEN for over two hours late? Just to make Motorola happy? Losing so many potential sales of non-Moto phones???

Proves my point BIG TIME that Moto is VZW's preferred OEM...
