Since we are talking about our stuff I figured I would get in on the action...

Desktop Stuff
AMD 8-core Bulldozer @ 4GHz, liquid cooled.
8GB DDR3 RAM
Kingston HyperX SSD (sooooooooo fast)
1TB RAID0 Array for media and other stuff.
All in an Antec Twelvehundred case.
I have a DasKeyboard Ultimate for the typing, very good keyboard.

Here are some pictures, in one there are 3 monitors, that is what my setup will look like when I get an eyefinity card. Currently I only have the 2 24" Dell Monitors set up.

Then I also have...
15" Dell Studio Laptop
HP Touchpad 16GB w/ Cyanogenmod
Beautiful 50" Plasma
Xbox 360
PS3

There is a very good reason why I don't have a roommate :D

Oh and has anything changed yet about the Galaxy Nexus coming out on Monday? I was gone for a few hours...

Anything out there on Costco yet. As a paying member I;m going to wait and see what it will get me there.

So, while you guys are basking I'll be waiting to see. Maybe. The anticipation level is pretty high.

BTW, I worked today and spent most of the day trying to get caught up in this thread. I started reading before I went into work on my phone, then xoom, then phone while I was at work, suppost to be working. I get one page down and two more would pop up. It took nearly all day to get to the end of the thread. Had 20 minutes left of work by the time I finished.

Also, as some of you know, I was ready to jump off the ledge and get a Razr, but issues with the vzw site and unable to pay how I wanted gave me time to sleep on it. You will be glad to know that I have stepped away from the ledge, back into the Gnex window :D

Good thing I checked this thread this morning before going to verizon first... I would have ordered the razr  :o

I am back on the Galaxy Nexus wagon!!! :D

I'm just reading through CNET's review now.

I find it so very interesting that they are finding flaws and faults with the phone that no other review site is mentioning.

About the OS itself: They are saying it lags. They are saying ICS is a "hot mess". Browser experience is "not all that different" (even though most other sites say it is the best mobile browsing experience they ever used)

About the device itself: They are saying it's fragile. Cheap feeling. That they didn't want to drop it for fear of it breaking in half (I guess they felt the all glass Iphone was somehow better for dropping..hmm). They are also saying it won't win any design awards and that it is comparable to Nokia designing "the same phone model after model", and that it's boring.

And I'm sure other things. I kinda stopped reading just because of how unfair and sometimes even downright wrong they are.

Please don't trust the CNET review folks.

Guess I'm gonna have to get the "House Divided" bumper sticker made that BabyBlues designed for me 25,000 posts ago if I get the Nexus! I'll take a pic of the back of my car once I have it.... I've got quite the eclectic mix of signage back there!

Lol CNET is the only self-proclaiming "neutral" tech-blog to be more pro-Apple than Gizmodo, they're a waste of time for anything that doesn't have a fruit on it.

They say one bad thing about your baby and they are untrustable? I'm guessing the phone does feel flimsy and lets be honest..the design is not revolutionary. It looks fine, but its been done

You sure they didn't have a bad/pre-production model? It's highly likely, in which case it's an unfair review. Also, I'd like to see it compared to their iPhone 4 review... why would they complain about the fragility of a plastic phone with fortified glass compared to the iPhone 4 with practically un-fortified glass :P

YankeeDudeL Costco Cellular Kiosk Employee Reports

I 'm not clear if he is Costco or the Cell kiosk.

From what I've gathered, I wouldn't expect the GNex this week or next. If it was we'd have seen it in our inventory lists. However, that doesn't necessarily mean it'll be at Costco the same time as Verizon. The HTC Rezound is out now, but we still don't sell it (though we will).

Through costco though right?

Just to add a data point...
While skulking around Frederick, MD this evening I visited an independent Verizon retailer and asked them if they knew anything about the Nexus launch. The woman there very confidently told me that they'd received an email today letting them know that the release had been "delayed til the 28th... not that it'll come out that day for sure, but that's the earliest it might arrive." She also confirmed the $299 price for the single model being sold. They offered to take a preorder... I politely declined.

I'm curious...In the past, have the resellers gotten new phones later than the Verizon corporate stores?

I never used a 5MP camera on phone but when i got the Inc I thought that camera was awesome.

The bionic stock camera was/is terrible.

The rezound has an amazing camera. Almost no lag and great focus. Full Hd video is sweet.

If the nexus has a comparable camera and better display, Super Amoled prolly looks better to me then the lcd on rezound then I'm definitely returning.

The Verge all the way!

Nice setup! I'm a bit disappointed though at the Bulldozer performance. Still a beast of a chip to be sure, but I was hoping for more. That said though, the company I work for doesn't make AMD boards atm, so I'm stuck with Intel anway :)

And you reminded me I forgot about consoles. PS3, Xbox 360, Wii. Other electronics that I purchased but are being used by family members : Another Laptop, 2 Netbooks.

Wait...Are we having an epeen showdown? This is horrible. :D How embarrassing. I blame BB for sure.

Samsung 55" 3D LED, TIVO, Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, 3DS.

Intel 2500K @ 4.5 Ghz. liquid cooled, 256 GB SSD, 16 GB RAM, Radeon HD 6970, 24" Dell UltraSharp.

HP Touchpad, Kindle, 15" MacBook Pro.

Droid X....soon to be Galaxy Nexus.

2011 Infiniti G37X coupe

My wife spoils me. :D

I had a friend who works at Verizon tell me this same thing. He told me he didn't see it in inventory, and usually when they reach the inventory list, its usually a 2 week period till they hit the shelves. I am going to my local Verizon tomorrow, where as I said in a previous post, they are having a 7AM meeting about the Nexus, and may be selling/taking preorders as early as tomorrow.

An independent retailer getting an email regarding the release date when not even corporate stores have? Sounds fishy to me. She was probably just trying to get your money lol.

I've bought phones from both authorized independent retailors and corporate stores. My experience with the Bionic was the independent store had no clue about it and had to go "pick one up" to get me one. They didn't get a stock of Bionics till 5 days after it had been released fwiw
