I see that my "phone from the future" / 2074 release year theory is getting little traction here, but the idea that there is no phone stock in the US seems a bit absurd to me.
I mean I am not saying it isnt possible, but really?

"hey, did u guyz remember to order the phones from Korea that were announced like a month ago?"
"oohhh nooo, quick lets do it now before anyone notices!"

You guys are legends. Sorry about the in/out thing but I've been busy as a one armed paper hanger with an itch. Is a summary out of the question? Surely something transpired along the way.

how would you guys feel if you were given a pre-order like was given with the razr initially? like say, preorders open monday, nov 21st but they dont give a concrete ship date?

Undulating release dates - bad
Samsung reps demoing the phone - good
Lack of USB on-the-go support on Nexus - bad
Reports of screen quality equal/better than my Rezound - good

Yup, I'm sensing a rum & coke night to alleviate the pain. :)
 
Looks like I should probably stick to my original plan and pick up a Rezound tomorrow. My rep said beyond the training and accessories, they know nothing and they have no phones in, demo or otherwise. I'm think we're still at least a week if not Dec. 8th from this thing being on sale.
