Between the 2, I've only used Steinheil Crystal. From what I've read, Zagg has the dreaded orange peel effect. And from my experience you lose very little clarity and gain little tackiness with Steinheil Crystal but it does start to peel on the sides more quickly. My other experience is with Phantom Skinz which do last longer than the Steinheil's but not quite as clear and little more tackiness. Read about other protectors in Asterdroid's post here:

So i'm not yet a Verizon customer but I plan to be on Friday.
After reading this article Galaxy Nexus + data plan + VoIP support = free calls! — Mobile Technology News would I be better off getting 10gb of data for $50 under the current promotion and just using VoIP or should I just stick with the standard phone plan?

Nifty. Kinda like the rather minor difference between the GSM and LTE versions of the phone. Not that much thicker. Might be the first time I ever pick up an extended battery for a phone.. always hated how the thicker battery and the door ruined the natural lines of the cellphone. Not to mention how it would make it more difficult to get out of a pocket.

Im late getting to this news, but is this the gsm vs LTE batty or the LTE stock vs Extended life batty? Do we need to grab a bigger battery door or is it a form fit function battery?? Im definitely getting the extended battery if it doesn't change the size of the phones exterior

Im going to go on a limb and say Verizon is messing with us.... heres why:
The Xyboard is coming out on the 12th, and the Nexus 9th. If you check VZW and go to store locator and look at the times. Friday and Monday are red for special hours. For releases. Its only been that way this week
I don't think it has anything to do with the Nexus or Xyboard. When I use it for my zip code, Saturday and Sunday are the days in red, except for one store, where ALL of the days are in red.
I have one of these on my DX...it's a great case, and most likely what I will go with for my Gnex.

Yesterday I got reports of, there in stock and selling this week and not until February, then the normal no news yet to a guy almost telling my GF to go to hell.

At Radio Shack it's $799.
I think that's typical for both Radio Shack and BB. I was shocked to see that same price at BB for the Razr, yet at Verizon it was $649. Not that that's a bargain, but at least better than BB and RS.

Edit: It also says "from Verizon Wireless" so probably safe to assume that whoever made that page is clueless and in fact meant to say Galaxy Nexus, since Verizon doesn't have the Galaxy S II?

Good morning! I usually get caught up around 11pm but last night I was perpetually 2 pages behind. I am impressed for sure.
It is always interesting to play catch up and watch the wild mood swings in fast-forward.

Even if there is no pre-order I would assume that it would be available online once the phone officially launches in stores. Probably about the same time if not sooner. If it is going to be Friday I would bet it would be online early Friday morning. I cannot recall a phone not being available online. I could be wrong though.

Speaking of ads, I happen to be close to Canada (Buffalo) and listen to a canadian radio station. In the course of 15 min, I had to hear THREE commercials for Bell (canadian carrier) and the Galaxy Nexus. For once, I actually was upset I wasn't Canadian...

Are you a government employee? That is the only "company" I know that HAS to order online to get discount. I am able to get my company discount in the store.
