Besides the numerous confirmations by store reps (and yet no picture evidence of a delay in corporate stores???), is there any reason we should not believe this phone can still sell tomorrow, as a surprise? What I mean is, what if Verizon issues a notice that suddenly stores with stock are able to sell tomorrow...?

dang it...iPad commercial came on...I then grabbed my remote and tried to FastForward...stupid live TV

What's with the soldering iron?? Beer/Work station? :)
Ninja'd...
I just finished a bottle of Epic 10 a couple days ago. I didn't care for it, personally. I like wine and I like beer, but not mixed together...

Doesn't it take verizon like a week to test updates?

I feel like a broken record:
Verizon doesn't wait until there are no bugs in a phone to release it. There will still be a handful of bugs at release. This is normal. If we waited for them to develop, test, develop, test, the phone would never see the light of day by your logic (that the release is held up by said updates). Unless it is something that would cause significant problems, they will launch the phone and worry about updates later.

True, I had such a diesel team. Unfortunately injuries are killing me: Matt Schuab, Darren McFadden, Marques Colston (for the 1st half of the season), Felix Jones, etc.. Still in 3rd place though :D

I lost Kenny Britt early on in the season. He was having a MONSTER season. My QB is Matthew Stafford (Carson Palmer b/u). LeShaun McCoy, Steven Jackson, and Shonn Greene are my RB's. Vincent Jackson, Anquan Boldin, and Brandon Lloyd are my WR's, Jason Witten is my TE. Jason Hanson is my kicker and my defense rotates weekly between the Bears and Texans. I average about 116 points per week.

I've called almost all the stores around me and they all say the same thing...

They have the phones but they cant sell them until Verizon gives them the go-ahead.

However, one of the stores did tell me to call back at 6pm (pst) to check back because she is "expecting an update" tonight as to when they can sell them.

Whatever happened to this? essplode, can you give us more info? ;)

I really think activations work on a blacklist not a whitelist system (yes, oversimplification but you get the idea) and if anyone actually gets a phone tomorrow, they will be able to activate it.
