I dont think many of us hate him...i dont..i just think he is getting credit for his defense winning games...every QB has dropped passes and yes, Demarius Thomas is a good receiver, put him with Brady or Rogers and watch him blow the F up..

Flea market velcro job is fine, as long as it holds the phone.

I'm at the gym now and can't really post well. I just wanted to take a moment to remind everybody how to treat off-topic posts

Our administrators ruling was that off-topic posts be preceded with a bold off topic comment.

If the post is both off-topic and on-topic, put the on-topic stuff first and the off-topic stuff second.

Way off-topic pictures like like animals and football stuff should be hidden.

I'm at the gym and cannot find Phases ruling. If anyone wants to find it for me and post it, I'd appreciate it.

I would like to do this on the fly rather than close the thread and have everybody acknowledge it.

Help the staff out by acknowledging this and complying with it!

Does Telesales have GNex cases? Only ask because there are no GNex accessories up on the vzw.com site.
Any chance of pics of the OEM case??

Honestly, I've tinkered with my DInc so much that I'm hoping this phone just works the way I want without me having to root/flash.

The reason for doing this is that unlocking the bootloader requires a factory reset, so I'd rather do it right away even if I don't plan on necessarily using it right away, just for the sake of not having to wipe everything when I'm already settled in to the phone.

With all that mind (and seeings how launch day is supposed to be this week anyway) let's split the difference and for the remainder of the thread let's simply make a best effort to:

* Mark OT content however you best see fit - at the end of your post. That is, if you have on AND off topic to discuss, discuss the on topic first then either go with the bold OFF TOPIC: disclaimer or hide tags.

Obviously if it is way off topic, football and Star Wars, your best effort needs to be to mark it one way or the other. If it is something like, say - talking about verizon's voice plan - do whatever you think is best, no worries either way.

At any rate I thank everyone for their input and understanding considering the spot we are in. We're doing our best to mold these types of threads to what is best for the community and will use this feedback going forward.

I'll be a little pissy if I can't use my living social coupon... but other than that.. meh... whatever is fine. If they drag their feet too long on the nexus I'll wait until the next gen rolls out.

I'm assuming you have cable service, you should call them and ask. When I was living in an apartment a few years back I had a tuner that I bought.

I also had free cable but my tuner wouldn't work unless I gave them some information off of it. Just a guess though

A lot of people have been saying the 12th for some time now. Maybe the 9th was wishful thinking on VZW part to catch an extra holiday weekend but not everyone got stock. That seems more feasible then most other theories.

Side note, the other day I could have sworn I saw a GN on a grassy knoll holding an iPhone.
 
Gotcha so I'll be able to recieve the OTA but it will likely cause an unroot, correct? And if thats the case I just wait for the devs for a few days to come out with the new update? Can you root without having a custom ROM? I like keeping everything look stock and a lot of the ROMs change so much crap around.

Worst case scenario is to go to a store and buy something that is at least 50. Then you've used the coupon. Do Not Open whatever you bought. When the Unicorn is finally seen and brought into the open you go to a different store and tell them you got the whatever for Christmas and don't have a receipt and want to exchange. That way you aren't making it a product that has to be sold as used so it's not a problem on a moral level. (at least for me that wouldn't be)

You don't have to wait for the devs to attain Root again. There is usually only the case where Root is attained through some type of bug or software exploit.
