Has anyone been able to find a retailer that sells a anti-glare screen protectors that fit the DROID Incredible. Normally I buy mine from Clarivue, as I have found them to be the best. Any suggestions?

Hey people over here! just posted a new thread, but like me, most of you are probably just refreshing this thread so I'll post here as well. ENJOY!

Soo.. I was reading some tech news just now and I came across a pretty interesting article. I know we all love android ;), and dislike crapple, so this is just something else that we can all rub into crapple users faces. lol

Adobe Calling Quits on Flash for iPhone - PCWorld

best lines in this article:

"...the iPhone isn't the only game in town...Adobe is working closely with Google to bring Flash Player and Adobe Air to Android-based smartphones (Motorola Droid, Nexus One, HTC Incredible, Sprint Evo)..."

"...Adobe now says it plans to concentrate on developing for Google's Android mobile operating system,..."

Hope you enjoyed reading that. :D
I don't mean to nitpick, but that article is wrong. It doesn't put "Flash" on the iPhone - it allows people to compile their actionscript based applications (e.g. Flex and AIR) to Apple xcode-compatible code. This doesn't have any more "bugginess" or cpu requirements than an average iPhone app.

That being said, I do think the news that Adobe will be throwing further support behind Android to be a Good Thing (tm).

mine just got here 10 minutes ago. had it shipped to work. ordered by phone monday early afternoon. pics...i know, i know....cant get to the file sharing websites on the work computer...working on them right now...8)

In the mail?

How did you order - CS or web?

I ordered mine over the phone yesterday. A couple pages back I mentioned about how I was able to get an order in despite a supposed memo saying no more phone orders. I played ignorance slightly and called in through the *611.

I also mentioned that I didn't think it had any effect but that it might have helped with my company having 360 lines and paying 18k a month. I don't think so though.

I had them charge it to my bill using one of the lines that was available for upgrade and it came to $169ish

Quick question on the pricing of the phone.

I had my NE2 upgrade due, and I also signed a new 2 year contract. This made the phone $199.

Is that correct?

Good you can count....

ANd Eipee I know I don't post as often as I used to but c'mon stealing a man's avvy is harsh... ;) GO PENS!!!!

Ha sorry man, i thought this pic was a different angle than yours. I saw way too many NHL rings in this forum to not bust our newest out. I'm gonna change it just for you though...I'm going vintage baby. LET'S GO PENS.

NE2 should be a discount of anywhere between 50-100 and the signing of a new 2-yr contract is 100 off. So you should have paid between 100-150 by my math...

I don't think that's correct. My annual upgrade price would be $299 on a two year contract. Subtract the $100 rebate brings it to $199 and then subtract my newly pushed up NE2 ($50) and that gives me the phone for

$149 - before taxes.

Lucky! We are so jealous. What date/time did you pre-order? Did you pay with credit card or put it on your next bill? I wonder if that makes a difference (credit card = they charge you right away so they have an incentive to ship sooner). I pre-ordered mine at about 12:30 a.m on 4/20 and still have that silly "Your order is awaiting approval or phone availability. Please check back in a few days." ARGGHH!

Be sure to let us know all about your Incredible experience.

Same here, pre-ordered Monday at 4 AM CST. Did a NE2 upgrade on both phones on our line..

Hey you can rock the old school, and I'll rep the new! So long as we outnumber the god awful Devils ring I'll be happy ;)

I am not sure what else I can say that hasn't alrady been said. The phone is snappy. As for the Cheap plasticy feel. The soft touch plastic is a pleasant touch personally. I don't think the phone feels cheap or anything. Coming from a Moto Droid I definitely notice a weight difference, but this phone just feels good to hold and use. It is currently charging to full, and the startup process to get it running on gmail and my corporate email account were pretty seamless. I had to set up facebook a couple times, but it is working right now. Next goal is to start messing with the Scenes and set up different layouts for work and play.

I hope everyone starts seeing some rollout of these phones. I have never owned HTC in the past but I am definitely impressed with this product, and other little things like the shape of the charger, and the feel of the usb cable are small things that definitely add up to an even better experience.

Only thing I have noticed that seems a little odd is when the phone boots up it comes up with the lock screen and when you unlock it, the screen is still showing the HTC splash screen like in the boot up process so it seems like the phone didn't finish booting up yet. This may change as everything gets sync'ed and it is running efficiently, but it was just one of those quirky things that stands out. The camera is smooth and I really like the fact that you press anywhere on the screen to set a certain focal point. So if you have something in the background that you want to focus on you can just touch that item and it shifts the focus.

I have searched and found many references to 1yr vs. 2yr, etc, but haven't found where it is explained how to get a 1yr. price when ordering. I am wanting to upgrade from my Storm 1 on an NE2 account. I have another phone eligible (son's) for annual upgrade on the account. What's the answer/recommendation? I am done with 2 yr contracts.
