This may seem like a stupid question, but those of you who got the phones early, were you able to activate them when you got them?

How about I just go eat some hay?
I could make things out of clay and lay by the bay,
I just may.
What do you say?

Droid Incredible arrives early for a few lucky, smug pre-orderers -- Engadget
Woohoo!! My first successful tip to Engadget!
Just trying to spread the Incredible-love.
I'm wondering if the people who got their phones early are ones who used the free express shipping codes. This may have been something that was unforseen by Verizon and made it slip through the system. Any of the people who got their phones can confirm this?
I am pretty sure they have all been phone in orders. Thus, they didn't use the code.
"We"? Do you have multiple personalities or something?
Is anyone else having trouble with the Verizon Wireless website when doing the pre-order?

Use Internet Explorer. Shouldn't have a problem.I did last night. It took me about 2 hours to actually get the order to go through. I would get to the last screen or two and then the site would time out. Keep trying, it will eventually work.

I had mine billed to my account as well and my status says the same. I would hope that if they declined it, they'd notify me soon so I can either pay w/ CC or make plans to go into work late on the 29th so I can stop at VZW and pick it up. I always bill my phones to my account, but since I didn't qualify for an upgrade I had to do retail on this one - don't think I've ever charged that much to my account before so it has me a little nervous. I called CS yesterday to see if it had passed the credit auth yet but they couldn't tell me anything - said he couldn't even see the order (not sure if that's normal, or if he was just dumb).![]()
I'm getting it on a 1yr contract. If I order online, it says the price is $369.99 minus the $100 online discount, so $269.99. For some reason it wont show my NE2 discount with it, so I'm going to a Verizon store this afternoon to see whats up. My NE2 discountis $100, so I should be able to get this for $169.99 on a 1yr contract. Not friggin bad.I have searched and found many references to 1yr vs. 2yr, etc, but haven't found where it is explained how to get a 1yr. price when ordering. I am wanting to upgrade from my Storm 1 on an NE2 account. I have another phone eligible (son's) for annual upgrade on the account. What's the answer/recommendation? I am done with 2 yr contracts.
I don't think that's correct. My annual upgrade price would be $299 on a two year contract. Subtract the $100 rebate brings it to $199 and then subtract my newly pushed up NE2 ($50) and that gives me the phone for
$149 - before taxes.
I thought it was weird that it's the only phone in that huge list with a blank screen.apologies if this has already been posted but it appears the Incredible will soon be available at Walmart -- see link: Walmart Connection Center - Browse for Cell Phones
Probably easiest to just sync your storm contacts up to a gmail account. The incred should pull those down easily.I have my preorder in for this phone and im pumped, but i have a question. I have a blackberry storm now through verizon and i was wondering what is the easiest way to transfer all of my contacts from my BB to my new DI? Thanks!
