Ditto here - seems like that is just their generic message on the order status page about 'awaiting approval or phone availability'.I had mine billed to my account as well and my status says the same. I would hope that if they declined it, they'd notify me soon so I can either pay w/ CC or make plans to go into work late on the 29th so I can stop at VZW and pick it up. I always bill my phones to my account....![]()
I called VZW this morning to mention the battery problem I'm having with my current phone, and to make sure that my order wasn't being hung up in limbo land b/c of something with my account, so that it could ship out as soon as possible. I was thinking there might be a way for them to give a little kick in the pants to their system to expedite an order for a customer that might be having issues with their current phone and need a replacement right away (heyyyy, can't hurt to try, eh?

Not only did I get put on the line with a CSR who actually knows something about the Inc., but he's already pre-ordered his as well. So, obviously, I was given the standard info about no phones being released/shipped before the street date, yadda, yadda......
He was genuinely stoked to have ordered his, and he currently has the Moto Droid, he said. He's played with an Inc. that someone in his department has had to use, and said (his words) about the Inc., "...and this is probably the best phone Verizon has had in several years."
He did mention that I'll probably want to d/l Advanced Task Killer, to kill apps that aren't being used to help stretch out battery life; and in settings, eliminate gps and wifi from Google maps to save battery life (can always turn them on as needed) since, at least on his Droid, they're both turned on by default.
