people have received emails now from SGPstore stating their protectors will be available on phone launch. Those of you that want a crystal clear screen (will leave finger prints) that feels more like glass, I definitely say check them out!!
I will not. No matter how amazing a device is, my wife will not allow me to purchase a new one until my NE2 is up in December, 2011. I could tell her that the phone has the capability to manipulate the very fabric of space-time, but it will not matter.
I just got lucky that my NE2 was up on 4/15 this time around.
Greaaaat...so now I am going to be staring at my door step AND at the forums from the 26th and on!
Not true. I preordered just after midnight Monday morning, and used the free express shipping and my order is still pending phone availability.

I took the day off too. There's no sense in being on the clock and not being productive.
Concerning the first battery charge: Why can't you leave it plugged in and charging AND use the phone? It WILL charge while on. What's the damage?
+1Too late... been that way since I joined the forum
EDIT: Zulucap beat me to it![]()
i know this was talked about in the past, but what is the current offer for users who dont have smartphones and want to upgrade early to a smartphone? where can i find this?
I'm gonna set up shop on the front porch, lol! I'm gonna look like the scary old lady across the street that just sits outside all day. Except I'll have my laptop.![]()
Wow. You gotta put on the pants and law down the damn law. Unless of course she makes way more money than you and you suck at managing money. If not, grow some balls, dude. Your post seriously saddened me today.
He did mention that I'll probably want to d/l Advanced Task Killer, to kill apps that aren't being used to help stretch out battery life; and in settings, eliminate gps and wifi from Google maps to save battery life (can always turn them on as needed) since, at least on his Droid, they're both turned on by default.
Am I better off getting the anti-fingerprint that they seem to offer. I think it's also anti-glare. What's the opinion on crystal vs anti-fingerprint from SGP?
Syncing with your Google account is built into Android. When you set up your phone, you give it your Gmail address and it will automatically pull in your contacts and calendar entries.
Mine was saying it was fully charged after about an hour of being on the charger. The battery came at half charge.
Just a head's up that you only get your NE2 discount if you sign up for another 2-year contract. If the Verizon store makes an exception for you you'll be the first case I've ever heard of so I wish you the best of luck. Just don't beat up the CSR is he tells you no![]()

from what I've read the anti fingerprint works good, it just depends on if you dont mind the colors getting a little washed out and slightly blurry. it's not terrible but there is definitely a difference in res quality on the screen with the anti fingerprint ones. it's nothing specific to this brand, you will get that on any anti fingerprint/anti glare type screen protector. also, these type screen protectors usually have a slight texture, some people actually like the texture because it makes your finger slide a little easier. like I said it's a matter of personal opinion. myself, I don't want anything to change the natural beauty of my wonderful amoled screen (so I am gonna go with the crystal ones)
For anyone that is buying a Zagg screen protector, use ZAGG20 in the discount to get 20% off. I found some others for 50% but none of them worked.
If you believe the experts, you need to charge the phone 4-5 hours regardless of what the phone says - for the first few charges. It will say full charge after an hour or two but that's not enough to 'condition' the phone to get optimal performance for the life of the battery....
My advice...be patient and let it get a full charge. (Of course the people who can't wait 4-5 hours will be the first to post complaints here about the poor battery performance!)
