Yeah I'm gonna scramble from my couch to my front porch on Wednesday for the phone and I already have the accessories.

Not trolling for Zagg but I have Invisible Shields on all of my personal electronics. I've had them on numerous work BlackBerry's, LG Dare, (2) PSP's, my son's Moto Rival, my current mobile (LG Envy Touch). Never had "orange peel" or any other type of issue with them. Did have one get a pretty bad ding from a car key and Zagg replaced it no questions asked. I just had to ship back the old one.

I ordered an Invisible Shield the day I ordered my Incredible. It finally shipped today and I hope to be able to purchase the "full body" coverage soon.

It's funny, I'm just the opposite. I've been at ease since I pre-ordered on the 19th and I'm supposed to get it on Wed instead of Thurs. This has been one crazy roller-coaster from the start of the rumors months and months ago to ordering/purchasing and delivery.

hahah- i work at a store and already am addicted! The internet is SOOO fast.. the whole phone is amazing! wait till you watch a movie on it! IT looks as good if not better than an led screen!

Exactly! And I'm SOOO happy to hear that another completely obsessive soon-to-be-Incredible owner already has all the accessories in hand just waiting for the phone on Wed. :)

It almost feels like we're all getting ready to welcome our new baby who's about to be born. We spend months learning and getting ready and wondering what it's going to look like, how it will act. Then we get together everything we need for the little tyke ahead of time so that all is perfect when our little bundle of joy arrives...
 
Sittng here lamenting the fact that despite living near several Verizon stores (sacramento area) - not one of them will admit to having any accessories - I am looking for the gradient case -

One store said they wouldn't sell anything until the phone is launched...and asked if I already had it...I told them to arrive Weds - guess I will order online and use the discount code - when it shows up

But, my tech life is still very good - I remember waiting for the Samsung Behold 2 to come out - disappointing - then becoming educated about the Nexus One - and finally the Incredible - fond memories of running home from work looking for Montana Man's instore experience with the ADR6300 - ah....good times - so I guess I can wait for Weds...and the case sometime after

All in all, it's been a great ride - thanks everyone for your entertaining, and educational posts...

1. Nobody has abandoned this thread! I was out of the country for 5 days and posting pictures and video up until the last minute before i had to literally leave the US!

2. We're not done just yet! Although this specific thread is on its final countdown in its current form that doesn't mean it's dead...do we have 50k posts yet??? NO Do we have 3 million view yet??? NO Do we have 1,000 pages yet??? NO Something tells me we can meet those milestones if we try.

3. Are inflammatory posts, purposely annoying and rude posts, trolling/troll-feeding, etc... any more acceptable in the last few days of a thread or in the absence of a mod??? Absolutely not! In fact, this thread should go out on a high note as it is truly epic and shouldn't be tarnished in the 11th hour.

4. We're here, we've been here, we're not going anywhere, and we never left! Look forward to the next chapter in the Incredible journey to be supported by Phandroid/AndroidForums for us all as we transition from being Incredible wannabe's to Incredible Owners! (Tips & Tricks, Wallpapers, Root, Custom ROMs, etc...)

5. I wouldn't discount the importance and relevance of this thread...it's not by accident that Phandroid is now listed as the FIRST site on Verizon's own list of external sites to go and get the most accurate and timely information about Android (see pic below :cool:).

Congrats! Yea, I would feel at ease either way really. I mean, c'mon people have been pre-ordering since the 19th and the website clearly said it would be delivered on 4/29. Sure, some got it early but when it really comes down to it, does it really matter? EVERYONE (well probably 99%) will get the phone at least attempted to deliver on 4/29.

So, yea, if I pre-ordered, I probably would look at my order status once a day around 5pm just to see where it's at. But, it seems more than 50% of the people on here who pre-ordered are just going f-ing nuts and for just about no reason.

But this is all just me. I think if I would've pre-ordered, I'd be sittin' pretty, or going in the store at 9am on Thurs. Either way, it's a win-win situation :)
 
i just got the confirmation that it has been shipped and i will get it in 2-3 business days. it's around 11 where i am, does that mean wednesday-thursday or starting tomorrow and thursday-friday? most likely i think it will come thursday. and i decided since my mom got the pack of 3 screen protectors i'll use one of those and either this sunday or next when i have a lot of free time i'll install my zagg because i won't be able to leave my phone off for 12 hours the first week or so. can't wait!
 
FYI.. anyone who pre-ordered at Best Buy and wants to order online you can get your money back from the Gift Card. I went ahead and ordered mine online this weekend. (because I wanted to make sure no one else opened it but me... I know a little obsessive) Also, because of the 2gb card, that I could use as a back up, and I could put it on my Verizon bill. Anyway, I went into Best Buy to cancel my appointment with them and she asked if I wanted my money back. So if they tell you they can't, they are lying.

Didn't have any problem getting my storm deposit back. I just said "changed my mind" and that was it
 
would i be able to go into a best buy and ask them to install my zagg shield even if i bought it from the zagg website. also how much would it cost, how long would it take roughly, and will it come out near perfect?

I haven't been reading every post since it was open for pre-order I just remembered that, the first few days, some were saying that you couldn't get it back if you changed your mind.
