Who is going to print the users guide up and go into Verizon tomorrow and ask "So, do you STILL not know about this phone?"

Me: Nice. Let me know what you think about it when you get them in.
Him: Alright. I'll hook you up. Don't buy from anyone else or I'll shoot you.

I asked him about them a week ago and he didn't know anything. Exciting times.

1. As i said, the internal memory is there, UG is wrong in this regard.
2. As is stated in the Evergreen thread, this is where there is some conflicting info, either way you get at least 512, but maybe 576.
3. So what, even my Droid can go up to 32 GB so this is completely irrelevant. Don't forget these EG pages can be very wrong, it even showed Sense UI for Verizon Nexus 1 briefly.
4. All this says is that it is OTA update capable, nothing else. It still won't come from Google, but rather Verizon, but just refering to the capability to do OTA.

More to come shortly...i'm also no stalling, just getting some approvals, limitations removed, etc... bare with me.

Sorry to repost so fast, but why does it mention "With Google" on the first page of the manual. Is this phone more of a "Google Experience" than others have been? I thought the "With Google" and "Google Experience" meant no Sense, only stock Android.

Maybe that's why they have 8gb internal memory. I would imagine faster access times with an embedded ssd than with a mircoSD. But looks like you still can add an SD card up to 16gb.

But then again, verizon can still supply the phones with SD cards. it doesn't cost them that much to toss them in there.

On my Iphone if I go to search and type in say "John Smith" it returns all emails, calendar appointments and contact info matching this. Does the android / sense UI system work the same way?

I THINK you can with version 2.1 of Android. I'm just not sure.

True. I used the Invisible Gadget Guard and loved it. BUT, if you sign up on the ZAGG site, you get a code for a discount. Mine was for 40% off good thru April 30...just in time. That's INCREDIBLE! :)
 
Man this thread flies fast.

Quick question:

I've been following the Incredible and HTC EVO hunt for the last couple of weeks and can anyone give me some honest legitimate reasons to go with the Incredible over the Sprint EVO?

Only thing I have come up with is:
-Launches or is released sooner, maybe by 6 to 8 weeks.
-Would be on Verizon network, most would say it is the best or one of the best.


Outside of that, I can't come up with anything. I'm due for my new every 2 next month and I'm trying to decide what to do. It seems the EVO is going to have everything the Incredible does, but quite a bit more in addition.

Any thoughts? I'm not trying to get anyone upset or overly excited, I'm just sincerely trying to figure out why I should or shouldn't go with the Incredible.

bestskinsever.com get 4 for the price of one IS! i'm hoping they come out with one quickly for the Inc. as that's where i'll be doing my shopping. they all sell essentially the same 4cents worth of plastic.. which i'm thinking is most likely all re-branded 3m window film? theories?

1) Car Charger
2) Extra AC Charger
3) Screen protector
4) Some kind of case.
5) Extra stylus (wait, that's old fashioned) ;)
6) Software. Lots of Software.
7) Car dock if it comes out.
 
I love how this thread is getting to the apps/wallpaper/accessories talk. Official VZW documents sure make EVERYTHING better! Why didn't they just save us all the trouble and fighting and leak this earlier? :confused::confused:

Does Verizon usually have accessories on sale the day of release? Just wondering if I'll be able to get any cases or anything immediately or if I'll have to wait for them...
