is the problem.. on phones with SPRINT???
You have to keep the app on the phone in order for it to show the widget, but it's only 1 widget and looks REALLY bad. It basically just says PANDORA with a black background and doesn't really serve any purpose except for opening the app...LOL.
FYI - If you already transferred Pandora to SD, you have to uninstall and then re-install in order for the widget to be available (quirk that I've found with many Android apps).
I just made a custom one that did the same exact thing.
Thanks I thought I was losing out on something. Lol

I must disagree. The widget allows you to pause, play, skip as well as provide a thumbs down or up designation for a song.
I really like the widget, but if I pause the music, and come back several hours later, the widget doesn't start the music back. I have to open Pandora to get it started again.
Yeah, Mr. Ed had corrected me on the play/skip/pause and thumbs up or down info, but it's still a terrible looking widget. I'd rather go into the actual app than use the widget.
...and this post where I apologize brings even more attention...
He sure did, but I missed it because he didn't quote you...all he used was "^"
So I am sorry for bringing more attention to this than was needed...and this post where I apologize brings even more attention...

Holy crap, how did we not figure this out before. All mobile data applications appear to operate much smoother and faster. Even if this doesn't help Pandora, everyone should do this anyway. I didn't do a speed test before hand but these are my results now:
800kbps down / 300kbps up and ping is ~120ms
I have Pandora running right now. Typically it fails in the first or second song. So far no failures. And the application loads and gets going MUCH faster. No long delays between songs either. Continuing to test all evening.
I switched the settings back to standard and it works fine. So setting things to zero's doesn't seem to work for me at all
