I'm mobile browsing the forums. There is now a three inches space on the right side of each forum.

i view this forum in dark/dimly lit production studios and the website is just over the top bright. can there please be a template for a muted color scheme or have a black background option?
 
I dont like it, but its not such a drastic change that I cant adjust.
 
LOve it! very simplistic and easy to the eye :D plus seems less laggy, (could be just me..) plus i personally was confused about have a like button and thanks button.. so glad i dont see 'like' anymore haha

all-in-all i think it's a good update, looks like were trying to "go green" haha
 
Since I only browse AF via mobile (full site). My thumb is now constantly hitting the "edit" button as I scroll. They are way to big. O_o
 
VERY minor complaint but the purple outline around the clickable Phandroid image at the top left of each page seems a little out of context from the rest of the color scheme.

I click Thanks when I actually want to say thank you for something that actually helped me and Like when I just want to nod in approval. However, I generally avoid that word because of some other site that has worn it to shreds.

One other thing is when I clicked Quote to do this, it threw that window way over to the right, instead of straight down like it used to.
Edit: tried that again and it was fine. Must’ve been a flashback -- those are fun.

Overall is a-ok...
 
Google chrome can not zoom the text on the new site using CTRL + mouse wheel or the + key. Pictures get larger but text does not. It works fine in firefox and IE but this is a site about google stuff, it should work properly in chrome. It has to do with the way the CSS was written. Please fix this, I'm sure Im not the only blind person trying to read this site in chrome.

+1 Those are the exact reasons I use those buttons (nod in approval because I "like" the content of the post). :p
 
Hey great job guys! I appreciate all the hard work! Although I would like a darker theme as well as others have meantioned! Also, is the app going to follow suite too!?!?! Its about time for a makeover for it as well, right!? ;);)

I really like the new look. Great work and this site is certainly my favorite android forum place along with xda developers.
 
I usually have my browser set to zoom 144% because of the high resolution of my monitor and the distance I sit from the screen. Your new style does not allow the font size to zoom with the page zoom as it should. No matter how much I zoom the page, the font size stays the same small size (10pt). Use EM instead of pt or px and you won't have that problem.:mad:
 
The little blue square that used to appear on lists of threads, to let you know you were subscribed, seems to have disappeared.

I've got the same problem here. All the text is so tiny. But it's just as tiny in Firefox as it is in Chrome... at least on Linux.

Also: zooming the page in Chrome doesn't help - everything EXCEPT THE TEXT gets bigger.

I have to agree on this point- my eyes aren't that great anymore- the font is way to small with the Chrome browser- my browser of choice- and 'see' no way to fix it. I read this site every day- don't want to spend rest of the day with blurry vision.

Quick update:
Read some more- so bright it is blinding; the font goes so 'blurry' after awhile my eyes start to tear up. Sorry I'm not a 20/20 but that was many years ago.

This is my favorite site- now nearly unreadable- for me- sorry.

Bottom of front page of Phandroid is confused.

Bottom of first page says "Next page" instead of previous page.

Bottom of page two have Next and Previous page links exactly backwards.
 
Awesome... absolutely love it, clean, sophisticated and easy to manage just like me lol....great job as always guys :)
 
This is me being VERY pedantic, but when you're in the full reply screen (ie not quick reply), under the smilies, you've got Miscellaneous Options:

Show your signature
Automatically parse links in text
Automatically retrieve titles from external links

The last one is not correctly aligned with the first 2 :)

Oh and personally I'm not a big fan of 'Likes'. People are liking when they should be thanking and it no-one cares how many likes you get.
