Post your Droid screens!

Been messing alittle bit found PS has a neon filter that isn't too bad for adding color , but also found using Gaussian blur radius 2,solaize and wind gives a neon blur.

hey, how do you customize your icons on photoshop? Where do you get the orignal image to change, and where do you put it after youve changed it? got a link to a tutorial or anything of the like?

I actually use the existing icons. I use the pen tool and outline them, stroke them, and then add a few different effects. You can put them anywhere on the phone and the gallery should pick them up. I have a separate folder in the directory just named "Icons." You can use Desktop Visualizer, Bettercut/Anycut, etc. to set icons for your apps.

I am going with what I call "Purple Blur"..
was suppose to be the "blue blur" but I stuck with 'em purple.
edited from the blacklight icon pack with photoshop. Thank God for BATCH.
here's a few of the 150 or so I did..

I like em! I'm a big fan of blue and purple. Unfortunately, I need things to match, and the Bugless Evolution theme I have has green accents. It was a sad day for my phone when I found that to be my favorite theme.

Here are my screenshots (been wanting to do this for a while). I am running Bugless V0.4 with the Evolution theme. I change it frequently, but i do like this one a lot.

My moto droid... simple

Sholes 2.02 w/ smoked glass. GDE hero theme,
BW (naked droid), CalWidget, MiniInfo widget, and 2.1 Gallery

I was wondering whether the 2.1 Gallery is something exclusive to certain phones? It's not on my phone and doesn't seem to be in the market.

Thanks a lot!!

This is what I have on my Droid for now. But with all of the great screens here, I will have to up my game without a doubt:)

This is my current work in progress. I didn't label the icons yet because with the text dock icons, I wanted to see how this would work.

that's awesome. thanks very much. if it's in the market, does that mean i can install it as regular without having rooted my phone, or flashing or app pushing etc.?

(i'm kinda new to all this and i don't know if i want to try all that quite yet lol)

and sorry to ask again, but does anyone know what the calendar app is in this shot here? i would really like to try it. thanks :)

Sorry, I don't know what Calendar app that is.

You should be able to install the Eliot Stocker Music Mod app without rooting. I'm not sure exactly what the set up process is (it was preinstalled on the UD8 ROM), but it's a free app so go ahead and try it. I would imagine it's pretty straightforward.

Once you get your feet wet and want to consider rooting your phone, this is the method I used:

Root Droid 1 - regardless of OS version - Droid Forum - Verizon Droid & the Motorola Droid Forum

There are several other methods, I recommend this one only because it is the one I am familiar with. It can be a bit daunting but there is plenty of information / help available across the forums.
