Easier to get in and out of my urban assault vehicle

I don't know about that. The doors look pretty large. ;)

So I got this as an email.

So I jumped. Well, I was also able to use my $100 credit from buying my Pixel 3a towards this, so it was essentially free. That's wicked cool since any other time I've had Play credit I couldn't use it on hardware, only apps or media.

Wow, it let you use your credit? Good deal then...

2 things aggravate me about that^ device. I can be *INCHES* away from my main google home and my Hub is 30FEET away in kitchen, and guess what, the Hub answers every time. I'll frikken WHISPER late at night, just wondering what the weather will be next day, and from 30 feet away, in a booming voice, the hub will be like, "IN INDEPENDENCE TOMORROW EVERYONE WILL BE TIRED BECAUSE MY ASS JUST WOKE THEM UP"

That and it really needed a camera on it. Which the new bog one will, but still.

Also, did not find it as useful for recipes in kitchen as I hoped.

I have 3 Insignia Voice speakers (from Best Buy) that all already seem to respond no matter where or how loud I say OK Google already, so I'm used to that frustration. Plus 14 phones, 32 tablets, and 3 watches that all try to answer too.

My primary use case will be to display Google calandar, photos, and lastly recipes.

The recipes are ok, *IF* you can search the recipe on the device. If you have a specific recipe, or try to 'send to home' from phone, then it is frustrating and doesn't work well.

I have a mini, a Home, and phones, and while they all listen, before the Hub the logical one would respond.

I wish you could see my house, open concept, living room dining room and kitchen all in one large space. On one wall is my Home, on the other, I think 40' away, is the home hub. I sit inches from Home in living room, face towards it, talk to it, I see it listen, Hub answers from across the house. It can't be that hard!
