Just to clarify, I didn't post the above because I'm suddenly promoting him, I'm just trying to show my adorable openness. I actually think he's just gumming the works by staying the race.

Thanks for the clarification. He could very well prevent either of the other 2 from getting the necessary 270 electoral votes which will then hand everything over to the house. Talk about interesting....

How much of our House is Republican these days?

"The 2014 elections gave the Republicans control of the Senate (and control of both houses of Congress) for the first time since the 109th Congress. With 247 seats in the House of Representatives and 54 seats in the Senate, this Congress began with the largest Republican majority since the 71st Congress of 1929–1931."

I don't think it'll happen. My money's on Hillary getting more electoral votes this year than Obama got in 2008

In that case, I want Gary to keep gumming things up.

The "current" Congress doesn't make the call: "In 1933, the Twentieth Amendment specified that the new Congress would meet seventeen days before the new President's Inauguration. By statute, the new Senate and House, not the lame ducks, pick the President and Vice President if the Electoral College produces no majority."

I think she'll get the win somehow even if 80% of the US votes otherwise..

Anyone but Hillary, or we're in a world of trouble our grandparents hoped we'd never see

I don't care much for her either, but the thought of Trump with his finger on the nuclear trigger scares the living crap out of me. He won't take responsibility for his own actions, blames everyone else for all that's wrong in the country, and claims conspiracy for his own demise.

I also think that the economy will tank in the unlikely event he does win. In fact I believe that will occur the moment he is declared a winner. Investors prefer calm and steady over unpredictability. I'm not an investor by any means, but I'm at an age now that I simply won't be able to recover from another huge loss in my 401k that occurred under Dubya's watch.

After extensive research, I have my absentee ballot sitting here all filled out "except" for the presidency. Sadly, I am truly at a loss of who to pick, but I'm seriously considering Gary Johnson. He may be construed somewhat as a dummy, but at least he's honest. Something none of us can say about the front runners.

We're likely screwed no matter what...

Why is it that Benghazi is constantly brought up against HRC, where similar intelligence failures and American deaths overseas under previous administrations have received nothing like the same kind of criticism or attention? What makes it different? This is not a claim for no wrongdoing (in any of them), but I am trying to understand why they are perceived so differently.

Fact-based, non-propaganda answers only, please. I'm asking the question here due to the breadth of political viewpoints and because I'm genuinely interested, not to pot-stir.

That is a publication which appears to have at least a borderline conspiracy-theory agenda (and much of that story is based on speculation). The article also doesn't address the question I posed. I'm really not looking for evidence that HRC is good, bad, or otherwise, but specifically to get a better sense of WHY the right seems to be much harsher with her over Benghazi than we have seen with similar failures under other administrations.

"About Us
Mad World News is firmly devoted to bringing you the truth and the stories that the mainstream media ignores. Together we can restore our constitutional republic to what the founding fathers envisioned and fight back against the liberal media."

my theory on this...

because drumpf and his campaign need anything they can to try slow Hillary's win.
what they could find.... they try to make it yoga.. more than it really is.. just a smoke screen to confuse the public

1. emails.. ok she did delete them and she was stupid to not be more careful with email servers. But she was investigated and it was bad.. but not enough to make more of it. put this against Trump University and how it try to con many Americans out of their $$$.

2. Bill's adultery... He was an ass.. and treated Hillary badly..
so she deserves our sympathy and admiration for handling it so well.
I know, if my lover cheated on me; I would give do my best to make her life a living hell.
and if the cheating was a lie.. then I would also give the liars hell. don't that make sense?
but Drumpf has lots of adultery that HE has personally committed.

3. Benghazi... she made a mistake, using the information she had at the time. she made the wrong call.. and a few people lost their lives from terrorist attack. she should have made the necessary arrangements to have more and better security.
this has happened to others in the past with bad calls. It was NOT intentional.
Over the years she has been in politics, Hillary has made many lives better and help many communities.

4. the election is rigged.
if he wins.. then it was all good and fair.
if he loses.. then it was rigged.

The organization that made this vid is a conservative activist group, with a partisan axe to grind.

The Leadership Institute trains conservatives
Founded in 1979 by its president, Morton C. Blackwell, LI provides training in campaigns, fundraising, grassroots organizing, youth politics, and communications. The Institute teaches conservatives of all ages how to succeed in politics, government, and the media. The Institute offers 47 types of training schools, workshops, and seminars; a free employment placement service; and a national field program that trains conservative students to organize campus groups. Since 1979, LI has trained more than 178,000 conservative activists, leaders, and students. The Institute's unique college campus network has grown to more than 1,700 conservative campus groups and newspapers.

This is yet another example which pretty much demonstrates that a lot of the so-called "claims" against HRC are actually propaganda and/or opinion-based. A bunch of dorky college kids whose answers were chosen expressly BECAUSE they gave stupid, uninformed answers to a vox pop doesn't mean that HRC has actually accomplished nothing, but that the students were ignorant. I could easily make a video asking the same question and find dozens of articulate college students who could easily "prove" the point for the other side.

Opinions are not facts. That doesn't mean they're not valid, but I do believe the distinction is vitally important.

Agreed. My absentee ballot is in the mailbox finally. While I won't reveal who I voted for, I'll just say that it wasn't Trump.

His temper and demeanor is worse than the 10 year old grandson that we've been raising for several years. For crying out loud he's already crying foul and hasn't even lost (yet).

I could go on, but I need to get some sleep...

An ignorant person can be educated & taught morals (in general, but I also realize this is a national election), whereas you have no options like that with an inherently evil person. You can also go "toe to toe" with a mouthy idiot, but you'll never see the assassin a Clinton sends until it's too late. Especially when they have a twisted sense of "entitlement". Unfortunately, I'm not looking to be annihilated by Russia cuz ppl wanna lay blame instead of owning up to it. Anyone ever notice she's never even hinted at an apology for what the emails are uncovering? No. She won't. She just blames other ppl and offers no apologies. Can't run a whole country with the mindset of someone who refuses to own up to mistakes. It shouldn't have come to this but apparently too many fell for Obama's story.
I feel that we're looking at a situation of "Armageddon vs Annihilation" with this election.. Scary, really
